Eh I guess but that doesnt really translate to interest in the game. Maybe that will change with a potential Collection being more accessible tho and Im all for more people playing those games.
That trilogy just as good as Halo to me to be limited to the xbox so I just hope its an outsourced project mainly lol.

I get your side of it too, The Coalition is talented af and it would be nice to see what they can do with something else. But at the end of the day, Gears of War is a great franchise and if they want to take that to the next level I’m all for it.
As for a collection I think it would be neat as a fan, and potentially make the series much more visible to a new audience. We might love BC, but there are a lot of people out there with little to no interest to play “old” games and all it takes is a new coat of paint to get them aboard. Also making it available on PC is a must, like you say.

Yeah, that was a trailer I think. Definitely a mixed media presentation of a game lasting just under 5 minutes.
Gamepass being 2-3x bigger then what it was in 2019.

The problem is they didn’t do that, they didn’t take it to the next level and we don’t have an indication that they’re gonna do that with Gears 6. Gears 6 might be more polished and even more technically accomplished, but that won’t necessarily make it “next level” if it’s still the same third person shooting and design foundation from 2006, and even the same attitude and character of the universe that honestly feels like it didn’t age well with today’s media. That’s why we suggest a new IP or at least completely different game in the Gears universe with a different attitude and take on it, and that would also guarantee design and foundational change.
