At least Shang-Chi (which was awesome, and maybe my top 5 Marvel) got around that by having him and Kate being blipped during the 5 year timejump

I’m just saying it’s weird how when like some D-Tier director makes a Marvel movie it reviews well, but you get an Oscar winner to write and direct (which she wanted to do, she approached Marvel) and suddenly the movie is a “Waste of her talents”

if she directed the next film eternals film and not this one i think it would have reviewed better since for this first one we are getting an origin story/ what’s next in the Marvel Phase which is probably is not her style even though she really wanted to do it

The script is really weak . It reminds me of x-men and fantastic four movies of the past .

Depends on how Eternals or NWH strikes with me, but I think Dune might be my pick for Genre film of the year.

Unless Ghostbusters is great. Which I’m still not entirely convinced of, but I want it to be good so much

i think for me we are supposed to know these characters all of sudden even though they been watching what thanos has done but chose not to interfere rubs me the wrong way and now we are getting a movie about them when i feel like they should be introduced in a another movie before eternals so that we get to know them a little bit and understand there motivation even though big bad Galactus is obvious going by the trailers.

I believe Disney won’t be able to repeat the build up of the previous phase where everything led to Thanos.

I don’t think expecting the worse from 2042 at launch is that hot of take.

BF4 didnt work for weeks on launch, BF1 had problems, BFV was DOA out of the gate.

BF2042 is coming in hot after what I would call near disaterous open beta.

Gonna wait for BF2042 to see in which condition it launches. I really want to play it but not gonna bite the bullet at launch before being sure it’s not a mess needing 6 months/1 year to be in a good state. Don’t want another Betafield.
