XboxEra Community Hangout |OT5| Season of the Infinite.. Arguments

yesss

i figure its the same Giant from 2019 trailer, but this one is much better

As if Star Wars storytelling hasn’t been a horrible clusterfuck for decades now, they put Quantic Dream on it now :confused_wat:

They are using the High Republic for that reason, the risks of contradditions and retcons are very slim. XD

Still that bad even after Disney abandoned SW’s expanded universe ?

It was never good, but now it’s even worse.

btw this shall very likely be Elden Ring’s opening cinematic

It’s incredible how Xbox YT channel ALWAYS posts the games late, IDK if it’s due to deals or it’s only badly funded and curated.

I’ve noticed that too .

Sony has timed exclusivity on trailers

Those rumours were unsubstantiated to begin with, Atlus doesn’t even publish on Xbox, lol.

biggest disappointment is Death’s Door getting snubbed in Indie GOTY and not even nominated for Soundtrack. Gtfoh

So FF7R is 89.99 here in Canada ($103 after tax in my province) and is also exclusive to EGS…

yar har fiddle dee dee

Don’t worry. They would just use their triumph ā€œ(insert western-developed game here) performed bad sales-wise and we are disappointedā€ card again.

The coalition seem like gods with the Unreal engine.

If STALKER 2 is only 3-month exclusive for Xbox, I don’t understand what the benefit MS sees in that?!

I mean depending on if it’s good, but the game visually looks amazing and so next-gen, the atmosphere and sound are incredible as well. Surely you’d want that as exclusive as possible, at least just one whole year. But I’m not the marketing or business guy so what do I know

My benefit is that it’s on Game Pass anyway so I’m covered

Also see that Forspoken is $93.49 here in Canada… Square is really creeping past the 89.99 mark which almost no Canadian wants to pay, but Square thinks their shit is worth a premium price.

the only thing i will say that xbox changed their stance on Timed exclusivity, they don’t want to pay more for it.
