I don’t see this ever happen. How would you sell a GTA collection for 60€ if Users can just emulate your the stuff and it runs even better?

Anyone got a group going for Halo Infinite, I need some people that play objectives
Pretty cool, but at odds with the stringent DRM these consoles have.
Also, support and improve OG and 360 emulation on PC through Xenia and the like. Cuz that’d be the best way to bring back most of the games that couldn’t make the cut for backwards compatibility on console.
What’s stopping Microsoft from releasing an official og Xbox emulator? Will that be a legal issue in any way? Because as much is praise their BC program, it still doesn’t preserve most of the OG/360 library, due to mostly legal stuff. But an official emulator shouldn’t be anything illegal in any way…

Emulation is perfectly legal, it’s the distribution of roms that is. Microsoft can fund and develop a fully functioning emulator and have zero legal problems. People can still legally use their own copies of the game to emulate. It’s only illegal when they try to distribute that online.
The best way is to support and improve Xenia and similar on pc which won’t have the issues of consoles when it comes to allowing DRM free software to run.

I’m aware but im hoping that it’s late June which technically would be early summer. Hehehe. Of course, first things first…hoping for a gameplay trailer at The Game Awards.
Yeah, it was pretty much a given with a packed February and the game needing more time anyway, made sense to delay it.
