Controller firmware update

The new firmware update for the Xbox One Wireless Controller with Bluetooth support, Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, and Xbox Adaptive Controller delivers next-gen features previously available only on Xbox Series X|S controllers, including better cross-device connectivity and reduced latency. We believe it’s important to maintain backward compatibility with Xbox accessories people already have in their collection to ensure we deliver the best gaming experience no matter how you choose to play.

They are on a decent update and upgrade cadence now.

Since the BC program is over, I believe we’ll see major updates for the console going forward.

I believe Jason said the team is still together, now entering a new challenge. They are some wizards all right.

Fingers crossed their next big target is the whole capture and recording system.

I’m sure Mixer was their tight integration to do all this. I think they’ll fix it possibly with this team now.

They sure have a lot of talent and passion for their projects, I’m sure that in 2022 we’re going to hear a lot from them.

So you are saying those are the guys I should ask for a UI overhaul ? Got it .

Nope. lol

There is a UI architecture team different from all these systems folks.

pretty sure they will update once Windows 11 has a more Global Rollout in 2022 and then they modify what they need for the new systems later just my guess?

These are xbox systems engineers.

i know

I think they are different teams, anyway the share system is poop, they went backwards from the original X1, which is ironic.

Yes PLEASE GOD.

Xbox games are looking too nice for the current system to be so mediocre in recording quality and what not.

Xbox Series X and PS5

  • Ray Tracing Mode is now available in the Video settings menu.

Xbox Series S

  • An option to uncap the FPS was added, allowing users to run the game between 30 and 60 FPS. Please note uncapping FPS may lead to a less stable framerate in some areas. Recommended for users with a VRR display.
