I think you misread me or missed the point. I didn’t say at all that the 3 big cities will be there at release. But later progressively one by one after the base game (which would be set in Miami as I already said to it in the GTA VI thread based on the rumors, job listings, hints from Rockstar etc) as “Expansions” hence why I said “Live Service”
About the working conditions at least we can admit it improved based on this article below:
“It does seem like a healthier culture overall,” said a second Rockstar developer. “We’ll see in a year or two if I’m pulling my hair out, but it does seem like we’re moving in the right direction for being a company the size we are.”
Of course a bit too early we’ll see & we don’t have the full picture but it’s a good step in the right direction.

They are not wrong, it’s not gonna grow crazy with indie titles and every once in a while a day one AAA game or older AAA games. Their own exclusives are going to be a great force for that starting with FH5 soon, Halo Infinite, Redfall and best believe Starfield will be a big boy. But it will be a while before XGS can really drop multiple games a year, throughout the year. More recent AAA from non Xbox studio’s would be great.
I gotta go now, but I’ll comment on the GTA stuff tomorrow dude!
Ehh I am not sure about that language, more so I am seeing several active developers in the comments propose easy alternate scenarios that don’t require just removing access altogether.
Either way, I’m not particularly well versed in the development side of this to be able to talk about this with more authority, but I just hope MS isn’t fucking over the FOSS community, that’s all. Cuz that ain’t it.
Yeah, I get why they’re upset, but its not like Microsoft is reverting to going closed-source or is saying everyone needs to license the SDK and dotnet runtime per cpu like Oracle pulled with Java. It’ll be fine in time.
In just under two months, you’ll have the chance to become the Master Chief, inspiring hope in humanity through heroism and sacrifice, no matter the cost. Step into Master Chief’s shoes and become the hero of the journey as you face the Banished and travel across Zeta Halo when Halo Infinite launches on December 8. In honor of that, we wanted to share some artwork that evokes some of those sentiments. These make fantastic PC Wallpapers so be sure to download the zip file now!
