People are actually still hoping for Bully 2? I’d kill for one, but I don’t see it happening.
My money was it being Ken Levine’s game that has been MIA for years now.
I don’t think Bully 2 ever existed.
There were rumors that it was in development but got canned. We also had several artworks which were claimed to be from Bully 2.
Kinda like a long-forgotten, distant hope that you don’t really examine too hard or think about much. It’s there, but also, not really.

There was GTAV then RDR2 then GTAV again, now GTAVI.
Bully 2 never existed.
I don’t think any big publisher is giving Ken Levine money, at least not that much money.

53 is mid-AA size. It would fit.
It’s a shame, I honestly would settle for a new Bully with the same scope as the first one, with just very good visuals and animations, what we always expect from Rockstar. The problem is that they want to go bigger and bigger, when it’s not really necessary.
I miss the days of 360 so much, almost on a yearly basis we got great stuff from them. And I know game development gets more expensive with each gen and their ambitions keep growing too…but with the so very few games we now get from them I’d go back to that in a heartbeat.

53 for early or mid development is not mid-aa. It would be just 53 ‘so far’, without the rest of development & marketing budgets.

Well it’s not Bioshock considering there were rumors Sony was sniffing around moneyhats for it and the dev studio were still hiring people.
So whatever it is, probably doesn’t matter much.

Development must have been really rough if T2 was prepared to write off the sunk cost.
He says further in the article that it was a competitive multiplayer superhero game
Probably for the best that it got cancelled.

While Avengers isn’t horrible, it’s just that it should have been what Guardians of the Galaxy ended up being. A single player story driven game with a minimal skill tree/upgrade system. Instead, Avengers is based around a loot driven system that just doesn’t work. Plus, you barely play as The Avengers. Shame because the combat system was pretty good and the first few chapters/missions before the loot gets introduced were really good.

They were rumored to be working on a new sci-fi IP and Mafia IV. This cancellation is the new IP because if it was Mafia IV, Jason would just say Mafia IV.

Really??? If true, then no big loss for me but for years, I kept hearing and reading that they were working on a new sci-fi IP and Mafia IV.
Hoping both of these games are still in development or at least one of them, preferably Mafia IV.
seeing the New portal footage and the fixes they done i can’t wait till November 12 since i’m playing early access
