For me this means i don’t listen to Jez numbers anymore and rather read the financial reports.
They run their xCloud stuff on Series X hardware so before they package the video stream in the data center its already in 4k. Maybe they want to add another paid tier to Game Pass like Ultimate 4k.
Think they still got some improvements to make even to 1080p

FH4 launched on the service Day1 and its bigger than Halo. Sea of Thieves probably too but you could argue about the pillar stuff.

Forza is no way near bigger then Halo. The series has been away for so long, that people are sleeping on how much of an impact it has on Xbox
Halo launching is great for the service but the multiplayer is f2p and not tied to GP so idk how many subs campaign will draw on its own. Will be interesting to see.

Depends. I think on that 20-25M number, a lot of fans of Halo are already suscribers. It will 100% goes up but explode ? I don’t know. Especially since the MP is free-to-play.
Maybe I’m wrong but I think that big mainstream games that weren’t necessarily associted with Xbox (like TES VI, Fallout 5, Starfield or even Back 4 Blood for the casual aspect) will draw more new people than Halo Infinite campaign will (even though it’s huge in itself).
For sure the service needs more of these. E-rated and casual content too. Licensed games with huge brand recognition too in my opinion (like an exclusive Batman or LEGO games, so that’s why they should try to buy WB if there is an opportunity). Worldwide brand recognition and huge IPs are part of why Disney + is rising so quickly against Netflix I would tend to think (but I’m not an expert about TV/movies streaming subscriptions).

Im of the belief that Infinite as a whole is going to move hardware, which will then lead to subs increasing. Depending if MS can solve the hardware shortages
Right now Forza is Bigger than Halo Forza Horizon 4 is still in the top 10 of most played Xbox games When Infinite release that might change but right now Forza Horizon is bigger than Halo.

Only cause there is no Halo game out in the market. Taken as a whole Halo is still the main piller
OK we will see if that Last as Forza Horizon 5 will be huge we will see in 2-3 years if Halo Infinite will still be in the top 10 of most played games list Like Forza is.
I mean its Halo.
