I dont think it’s that weird considering folks who don’t subscribe to Xbox live won’t be playing the game at release anyways. But they should have opened it for all to beta test.
I get you but conversely, what if being able to play the game for free in the beta (which will be a loooot more people than subscribers of live gold/ps+) actually persuades them to get that subscription this holiday just for the game? Which is not surprising btw, as a lot of casuals just play a few games a lot of the time - CoD, FIFA, Apex, Battlefield, etc. Not having a barrier of entry for the beta would actually help Xbox in that sense. PS players gotta get PS+ at release too, but a lot more of the userbase will not be walled by a subscription in the way to even try the game out in the beta.

I think it’s a remnant of old Xbox policies, a matter of technical oversight mixed with old policies, etc…no big deal honestly, whoever play those games has Gold.

I got a screen telling me Cloud streaming beta is available on Xbox. So I can stream games on console apparently. I’m in Alpha skip ahead.

The other day I saw some BF footage but that must have been a reaaaaally old build because that…did not look good. The open beta should look a lot better.

Yeah, I restarted my console and it’s there. I have the option to stream GP games. I decided to try with Destiny 2 and I have the worst connection ever, but it works. The future is now.

Sable is a bit smoother, but yeah, it’s still not the experience it should be. It sucks, really.
I’ve tried RDR2 with DV and also HDR10 but I still highly prefer SDR. It just looks too dim, almost a little washed out with HDR/DV and it looks fine with SDR.
I have the first option set to 1000 and paper white is at 100.

Great for the mmo community. The needed a new big game. For years it’s just Wow, FF14, ESO, RuneScape and GW2 as the big 5. Especially great after the whole Blizzard stuff.

idk amazon will have to make a move in next 3 years. they didn’t invest in luna for nothing. heavy push with twitch and they will acquire or invest in studios to make games for them, this is what we should expect
It is however including all the DLC is a bit of a surprise. I heard the Black Panther DLC was actually pretty solid.
