Just a reminder to some folks, only select individuals will know of acquisitions unless theyāre a done deal by this point since Iām seeing that thrown around. Iād say itās more probable that this is related to a new product, game, or featureset.

Maybe no this year, could be a February/march gamepass release. The gunk and hello neighbor 2 is filling out this year probably, maybe even scorn.
Energy sent, one of our sister labs just developed a means of creating fusion via laser (instead of a tokamak reactor) so I figured thatās the most energy-efficient means of doing so

Hmm, then itās gonna be an update outside of the Xbox show, but early next year would be fine too. Yeah definitely want to see an update on Scorn.

Finally had a chance to try out the Tales of Arise demo. Iāll admit, Iām nowhere near as much of a fan of JRPGs as I used to be, but the Tales series has always had a great combat loop to keep me coming back, and so far from my limited experience with Arise itās got great combat in spades.
From a presentation perspective, itās also a lot more ambitious than some of the more recent titles (itās gorgeous even on the S).

Yeah the combat is pretty crazy, at times very chaotic but not in a bad way. A real nice, significant improvement over Vesperia too. Canāt comment on the games that followed since those sadly only came out on PS4.

Quake remaster being multi-platform isnāt a surprise whatsoever but doing things like this will keep the narrative of āis it coming to PS4/PS5ā going which makes no sense to me. I personally would have buried that narrative already but thatās just me. I really donāt understand the need for Microsoft to play nice with Sony and/or Nintendo when they got nothing in return from either of them. I could understand if Microsoft gives them a game and both give a game of equal value in return. I would be like, okay, itās a fair trade but thatās not the case. Sony and Nintendo would like nothing better than to see Xbox die especially Sony so I donāt get why Microsoft canāt have that killer instinct.

With that said, a better question would be is why even remaster a 30 year old game to begin with? If theyāre testing the waters, they probably should have done a collection of all the Quake games and go from there. Oh well. On the bright side, does this mean that Machine Games have hopefully been working on Wolfenstein III??? Iām hoping!!!

Ghost of Tsushima being 5 points higher than a year ago makes perfect sense due to the Iki Island expansion and the Legends MP mode which is said to be really good.

Anyone check out this game? Itās called Exekiller and is only for PC as of now but itās like a cyberpunk western bounty hunter game. Looks solid. Hoping it gets ported to current generation consoles.

Just saw that there will be a new trailer and development update for Black Myth Wukong at 10am China time which is 9 hours and 20 minutes away. Woohoo!!! Still the best looking current generation game that I have seen. Letās go baby!!!

Iām probably not gonna watch Quakecon, thereās not much of interest for me. It would have been great if they had debuted Redfall gameplay here, but itās clearly being kept for a different time.
Iki Islandās story is 3-4 hours with all dialogue and cutscenes ā less if you skip those.
The story consists of 9 Main Tales and takes about 3-4 hours total including all dialogues and cutscenes.

And itās 20 bucks to upgrade if you already have a copy of the base game, correct? I find that a bit much money for that.
