Find the remaster having a multiplatform release to be slightly annoying, but meh. It’s consistent with the legacy content thing.

Regarding quake it sounds like a simple port does it really matter? No it doesn’t at all now if it was a remake or remaster that’s a different story I think remasters or remakes would be exclusive like brand new games so for ports I have no issue with it being multiplat if it was a remake/remaster or new game I would be really annoyed and pissed off
it is a remaster, otherwise the “revitalized” naming wouldn’t have made sense imo

Anyone who can think with a cool head knew this already, Redfall exclusive and Starfield exclusive, they could’ve come to PS4/5 but they ain’t. The Quake game is probably 100% complete on all platforms so they would be legit throwing away money by not releasing it on all platforms. Like I’ve said before no one is going to buy a Xbox console beacuse of Quake, the real next games in the IP will be exclusive but this remaster will go on all platforms.
(also no please don’t say why not release all games on all platforms because they’re losing money because I’m not saying that and that’s a stupid argument pls save us the time)

Listen i think people weren’t doomposting about Quake remaster being multi platform i think they were posting a valid point that maybe marketing wise people could be muddy on why Quake is multi plat but Elder scrolls 6 isn’t. I think in my opinion i would have revealed this before the finalisation of the deal so marketing wise you can get ahead of the news it’s being multi plat and it will give people time to understand because casuals take time to process this kind of stuff. I mean they probably still think Destiny 1 is PS exclusive lol.
Also if the Quake Reboot is happening wouldn’t people be like confused on why the reboot is exclusive but not the game it’s based on?
I mean i don’t mind it being multi plat but these are my thoughts on what other people might percieve.
