I mean the lockdown actually boosted gaming to such a degree that it’s doing worse compared to last year I think.
I’m more of the mindset that, it accelerated the growth rather than being an one off year.
Insomniac is passionate about making these games, if they want to create a marvel universe with their games then I’m all for it.
Miles Morales came last november and it’s still in top 5 overall sales for all platforms. Spiderman 2018 is still their most successful game in the past decade. Insomniac wanted to do Spiderman, that’s gonna be a big part of their identity now. Their R&C team might do something new next while Spidey 2018 team is working on the sequel and the MM team makes Wolverine.
damn my mans Steve be schmoovin.
Yeah good for them I guess whatever sells their hardware.
Definitely way way more pixels than PSVR2. That too with probably MicroLED.
Deathloop isn’t performing very well sales wise on PC… eish. I’m loving it so far but I can’t convince any of my friends to pick it up. They think its too overpriced and I know one person who got turned off because of the ACG review. My friends also don’t want to spend money on it because the Battlefield beta releases next week or something. I’ve been the only person talking about this game in my friends circle, seems like once again Arkane has a marketing problem.
apparently the PC port is dogshit. Looks like Denuvo might be the culprit again. Fuck Denuvo, all my homies hate Denuvo
Maybe they will need to remove Denuvo in future for the running through Gamepass app.
The most recent example is RE Village which had the same problem, they removed Denuvo and everything was normal.
Also Dishonored 2 was bad, it seems they really need MS expertise, dogshit pc ports under Xbox umbrella wouldn’t be accepted that well.
It’s not, I’ve been playing it with my AMD 3700x and GTX 1070. Aside from my GPU being a bit of a bottleneck my CPU scores are great. Lot’s of gamers are using dogshit CPU’s with and decent GPUs. I turned off FidelityFX and it fixed my stuttering issues.
Running in ultrawide 2560 x 1080p.
it’s a Bethesda problem in general. Remember when DOOM Eternal released accidentally without Denuvo and the game ran great, and then they added it in an update and it started performing worse?
Bethesda should find better options to combat piracy cuz this ain’t it. Gamepass helps in some way as a low price entry barrier, but making the entire experience worse for everyone just to prevent a few marginal amount of pirated copies at launch? Not sure about that.
Well, Doom even with Denuvo blows out of the water any shooter in existence, 400FPS on average with that fidelity, lol.
Going live with the 2nd half of The Artful Escape
lmao that’s true. But does the game still have Denuvo? From what I know, a lot of developers have it at launch for a few months and remove it themselves later on, like EA did with Mass Effect LE, at least IIRC.
Deathloop really said
Could simply be background Shader Compilations. On PCs the games usually compile graphical shaders as they’re needed the first time instead of doing it upfront or shipping with them already compiled for variety of drivers. This doesn’t happen at all on consoles because it’s a known fixed platorm.
According to Steam page, yes.
