Based on this, if this is indeed accurate, then there is certainly very little improvements visually. To ND’s credit, the game already looked stunning in 2016. But this doesn’t require a “remaster” cuz I see very little changes that deem worthy of that especially given it’s a separate purchase that owners on PS4 will have to rebuy to get the improvements in framerate and resolution. It’s perfectly fine for PC as the game is debuting there, but a remaster for PS5? Naah I don’t see it.

They can and should sell it on pc, but paying for this on PS (if you own the original) is lame, it’s a very minor improvement compared to other patched games.
yeah. I mean, Spidey 2018 remastered at least gave raytracing, performance RT mode, new and updated lighting, character updates (even if people were iffy on it, it’s still a lot of effort). I see very little of that here. Then again Insomniac gave that update themselves and this is from Iron Galaxy. I mean, if this frees them up now to take up Killer Instinct again, then it’s all positive lol.
Ninja Theory just added all these things within Spidey “remastered” for free. XD

yeah it wasn’t even called Remastered or anything lol, just a patch. And this game came in 2017, not too far from UC4. HZD was 2017 as well and they gave the 60fps patch for free a while ago. Sony is super inconsistent with the way they’re doing these things, it’s weird.

Yep. It’s kinda crazy how beautiful the game still looks to this day, that being said, couldn’t they have upped the resolution more? Believe it’s the same as Pro? But is it at least 60fps?
All in all though this should have been a free patch, like Gears 5.

Yeah, the Bloodline DLC is $15 alone so for $20, I figured why not? I don’t have to replay the base game since the Bloodline DLC is separate and takes place before the base game which makes me very happy.
