Bro… In a game of wild monsters, bizarre humanoid bosses with hands growing out of hands, literal dragons, the most terrifying thing is some area dude with a metal helmet.
Give this game to me right goddamn now

Ugh, I wish i can get into souls games because they all look so cool, but I’ve sadly realized these games aren’t for me
Starfield is really my most anticipated Xbox game for 2022. The next big juggernault from Bethesda. Gigantic super ambitious RPG.
I can imagine the countless hours of exploration and wandering in the space facing alien foes and crafting experimental weapons wearing badass suits and doing quests found far away in an isolated place.
I love how they craft their world. There is this sense of awe and wonder where you’re like lost alone and amazed by the discoveries you’re making…
Is it about Project Eve they are console warring with? That game is coming to Xbox though
I didn’t see the tweet and the console warring.
And I know it’s coming to Xbox, but showing that trailer in a big showcase like that was really odd, that’s all.
I have seen the tweets.
The PlayStation fanbase is fucking disgusting. I know, generalising etc. But noone is calling this shit out from PS, media or any of the other enablers. It just keeps on, year after year. I’m sorry, but this pissed me off.
There isn’t very many, if any, big budget(?) single player Korean games being developed, so I figure they wanted to give it some exposure. The trailer was really long though for something like that though lol.
I think this was me not reading the situation right and making a jab I honestly thought would have you laughing when it seemed more like I was being overly defensive and chose to unjustly attack you with some dumb strawman assemptions
Not at all my intention and no, this isn’t me saying you misunderstood me, you’re fault. It was mine. Just know I defenitely wasn’t implying you were looking to defend objectifying woman. That whole aspect of the discussion wasn’t even on my mind. I was more joking that you were looking for a way to challange Knottians assertion about PS fanboyism being the reason for it. because you have been doing similar with things like the Paul Tassi criticism, Jim Ryan criticism, etc. So I took the chance to carry that over to this discussion with a little jab that I intended no real malice behind
But I should have realized that would not be clear at all. Sorry Ruthwick
It’s coming to Xbox One but doesn’t have a Native Xbox Series X version where as there will be a Native PlayStation 5 version. This is the only thing I think it could be. I’m interested in the game and it’s on my list. It looks like Devil May Cry and Bayonetta had a child and while im not a fan of Bayonetta, I know 1&2 are great games and I loved Devil May Cry 5 so im in unless of course the game just ends up being bad which in that case, im out. lol.
I mean, yeah, they gave that girl’s butt exposure, that’s for sure.
Maybe I wasn’t clear, my bad. It’s just that Sony is way above that stuff in all of their productions.
If Xbox showed that trailer in a showcase like that, they would be crucified. And for good reasons.
I absolutely love this game title they have right now for Fallout 76. Its fantastic which takes me to the point that we should get to choose what picture displays in these games.
It would also be cool if we could change the size of the tiles. They are so big now that I can’t even see my background properly.
Just looked like a fast paced action game to me, what was the issue?
Watch the trailer again. It’s right at the beginning.
And I think we can have a more interesting design for a female character in 2021.
This kind of thing isn’t going away from Asian game design any time soon… Especially from Korea which tends to leans even more into fanservice than Japan usually does. The game itself looked really impressive for a Korean single player game, so denying the chance to show the growth of Korean game development at a big showcase just because of a character seems silly to me.
And the reception seems pretty much positive other than otherera’s thread. Xbox has shown off both Nier Automata and Code Vein before which is similar to this game’s character design, and nobody gave Xbox shit for it.
For the record, I don’t care if a game has fanservice like this or not. If the dev wants to do it, whatever. If they don’t do it, also whatever. Really I’d rather they have this design than to hear the developer say they wanted to have this design but were forced to censor/change it.
Watched it and didn’t see anything particularly egregious about it , guess I was distracted by all the combat and monster fighting. As for the design, it’s not the greatest but it’s also fairly tame as far as those kind of designs go.
Also i thought “The Vanshee” looked a lot better in combat and character designs but sadly I think that’s more of an MMO than single player.
Fan service is a nice way to talk about that stuff. If korean developpers have to show butts like that to sell their game, that’s a problem.
That’s why they changed that cheap shot of Miranda’s ass in Mass Effect Legendary Edition.
Dude… your work is simply incredible!
Thanks man! Ya guys should get one for a giveaway on the podcast or something when the next flight starts.
