I think the Epic Store exclusivity has to do in regards to Steam not getting the game. I canāt imagine Remedy agreeing to fully exclusivity on EGS. Alan Wake 2 is all but guaranteed at this point.

Why did MS give Alan Wake IP back to Remedy? There are many IPās that MS own the rights too but than just give them away to 3rd party dev why?
I think they sold it back to them for what it was worth ā so maybe dinner and a movie at most and single coffee at worse.
That was a bad sale like why the IP is worth way more than like say a couple million that MS got for it. MS is a trillion company it not like a couple million means much owning the IP is worth way more than that.
Pretty sure it was part of the original publishing agreement that ownership of the IP would revert to remedy after like 9 years

Man when I look back at this, one of the best intro of a japanese game, so much memories (The ZOE HD Collection is included in the Games With Gold for September, try it itās a gem, I bought the 1st in the past because Kojima included a demo of MGS2 on this game so I had to buy it to play MGS2 and then fell in love with ZOE (Zone Of the Enders obviously what were you thinking? 
).
Anyway, The 2nd Runner is even better by a huge margin. Just look at this opening. Damn!
Imagine a big AAA High Speed Robot Action game by Kojima, would be one of my dream games.
