It felt like a superhero movie made before people knew the formula how to make superhero movies.
Had that real 90’s superhero movie “Hey we tried, but nobody knows how to do this yet” vibe.

Wasn’t fully feeling Far Cry 6 after watching the live stream and Skill Up’s preview video but after watching Jayvee’s preview video, im much more interested than I was a few hours ago. I think Jayvee explains things a lot better. Minor spoilers but nothing major.

Is he spoiling the Vaas is back in the game? Or is that common knowledge?
Or are people thinking FC6 is a prequel to FC3?
Vaas isn’t in the main base game but will be part of the three post launch DLC. One is with Vaas, one is with Pagan Min and the last is with Joseph Seed. You play as them in the DLC.
He mentions Vaas and Far Cry 3 because early on, you get that feeling after a story cutscene and being in a tropical setting which after watching the video, you can definitely see that.
I think it has some mode where you can play as some of the boss characters from previous titles

The post launch DLC features three episodes or something like that in which each one is centered around you playing as a previous Far Cry antagonist. So one DLC is with you playing as Vaas, another is with Pagan Min and the third is where you play as Joseph Seed from Far Cry 5.
Yeah they figured a lot of sociopaths play their games, so they saw the dollar signs on the blood soaked wall

NGL, turning your sociopath bad guys into playable characters is kind of tone-deaf.
Considering some of the backstories of Vaas, Pagan and Seed.
I mean Seed is a cult leader that kidnaps people and brainwashes them using drugs.
Let’s turn him into a 14.99 DLC.
Honestly, I don’t see the issue. It’s a game. Why do people have to get offended by every single damn thing? It’s ridiculous to me. Besides, when you’re playing these games murdering hundreds if not thousands of people, not really much of a difference if at all.
I actually was into the DLC but from what I read, it’s roguelike which im not into at all.

I don’t buy any of the Far Cry dlc.
Far Cry gets more and more bloated each game by the end I skip half of the optional shit and just finish it.
Far Cry 5 was good, but not great like 3 and 4.
Hopefully 6 fixes the mistake of 5.
I wanted to love FC5.
Odd that Ubi would spoil this, a bit unfortunate too. Baas was great but I felt he was waaaay underused in the game, that was a big disappointment in my opinion.

I don’t know why this made me think of this, but did any of you guys see the tv show, Arrow? I tried getting in to it, but I honestly thought it was poorly written, corny and just made no sense
I mean this dude would infiltrate a hideout. Kill like 30 henchmen, then get to the main bad guy, some madman responsible for all kinds of death and mayhem and one of Arrow’s teammates would stop him from delivering the final kill shot, “don’t do it…this isn’t you”
Like, motherfucker he just killed scores of paid mercs, but is now going to let their sick as fuck crimelord leader go…so he doesn’t lose his soul?

I have never bought any of the Far Cry DLC’s because I prefer meaty expansions instead of small few hour DLC’s. I like the idea but not into the rogue like aspects.
Far Cry 5 was good but I agree Far Cry 3 and 4 (and Primal) were great. We’ll see how Far Cry 6 ends up being. I am more confident after watching Jayvee’s preview who’s tastes normally lines up with mine.
