I think it’s safe to say most of the big publishers will be big supporters of Game Pass, mainly because Microsoft is throwing money at them.

Nah, not necessary. Publishers want the games to access more markets and bring more sales. And it seems like putting the games on Game Pass works and it gives the access to more people. It is not one way road - it’s not like MS is begging other companies to put the games on Game Pass.

It’s been 5 months since console release and Xbox doesn’t have any game linked to Series Consoles yet (medium maybe ? )
PS released two games in first week. And are about release one in coming summer.
Up until now - Xbox is riding only on Gamepass and Hardware features.
It’s really a sight to behold. The opinions are opposite to lack of games even when there is no game yet. Future releases are understandable but they are not present.
Xbox has already changed the narrative and industry.
Yeah, I was thinking about this yesterday. Halo was supposed to be the big one, although not even Series only. The wait for a actual Series only game will be a while. Probably with Starfield, unless FH5 is a thing, releases this year and is Series only. But I can see that being for Xbox One too.
I can’t sit here and claim I am bored, hell I got tons to play on XSX. But I was in a party chat yesterday and one friend asked the other if he was getting a XSX and he said not anytime soon. There just wasn’t any game yet making it worth it for him. I can’t argue with that. As awesome as SSD and 60fps+ is.
I really wasn’t talking about only next gen game. I was talking about game which can be linked with the console. Miles and Sould can be linked to PS5 because they were released with it and all the marketing. Xbox doesn’t have any until fall with Halo Infinte. PS5 will have complete next gen title in summer.
Creative Assembly (owned by SEGA, created Alien: Isolation, Total War, Halo Wars 2) has opened a THIRD UK studio. So I think they have 4 studios in total. The main UK Total War studio, their Sofia studio, the console team (Alien: Isolation, Halo Wars 2, now working on an FPS), and this new one. They currently have over 800 employees, and saw a growth of over 20% last year. Insane.
