XboxEra Community Hangout |OT2| Cracking down on shitposting

Hahahaha.

Miles & Colt saying hellblade is late 2022 (at best), maybe 2023. Wouldn’t be surprised if it was that.

Wait…a game has been pulled from the Xbox Games Showcase? Which game???

They didn’t say.

I would think it has to be fable or hellblade.

Id be worried if Everwild doesn’t make it in and disappointed if its Avowed.

For the game that got pulled, do you think it’s something people would’ve expected to see at this E3? I wouldn’t count Elden Ring or possible Kojima game etc.

I would be disappointed if Hellblade is not shown.

Same. Hellblade 2 would be a real graphical showcase for current gen which is something Xbox needs at the moment.

Starfield will look fantastic but we will get the ‘BuT ItS OnlY CroSs Gen’ crowd yapping on.

I would be disappointed if it’s Fable or Hellblade 2 as both are near the top of my anticipated game list from Microsoft. Avowed can go either way for me. If it’s there, great, if not, no biggie. Everwild is honestly of no interest to me so personally im hoping it’s the one that was pulled. Hehe.

I guess it’s perfect dark. It wouldn’t be weird if it happen the same as hellblade 2, it was shown in the game awards and the next E3 there wasn’t a new trailer about it (I’m not going to take the Iceland thing as a trailer)

With Hellblade getting so much mocap under way I dont think we will see it.

I wouldn’t even say Perfect Dark is the game that was pulled because is anyone really expecting it at E3 to begin with? I’m not expecting it for at least another year.

If it’s true that it got pulled because it was CGI, Fable sadly could be it. Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t it still early in development? Isn’t Hellblade 2 much further along? As for Avowed. If we go by what Sponger said it could get a proper reveal this E3, because I don’t really think they’d show a second CGI teaser of a game that could see its release next year. So much is still uncertain overall though.

If you guys need to kill 2 hours…

Hmm we still aren’t certain if Starfield is cross gen or not, but I’m confident that it’ll not be the most next gen looking game cuz no Bethesda game ever has and I am perfectly fine with that, that’s not why I even care about Starfield, same with Halo, their graphical fidelity is the least of my concern compared to something like Hellblade 2 which has become this standard that everyone now expects from it visually. It matters in that game that the facial animation, character fidelity, world detail, etc is as amazing as advertised.

The video could be named “History of Grand Theft Auto (1984 - 2013)” because we were doomed to play nothing but GTA V since the day it released.

Seriously, soon we will complete a decade without a new GTA.

I think Todd said back In 2018 starfield was a next gen single player RPG

Playground Games opened up their second studio in 2017 working on an open world game so I would imagine that 3+ years later, they must have a few minutes of gameplay to showcase. I think Hellblade 2 started in 2018 but not 100% sure on that. It’s supposed to be a smaller game than Fable plus it’s not an RPG so I would think that Hellblade 2 is further along. Avowed has to be gameplay or a no show. I can’t see any game getting a second CGI trailer at what will be a major showcase for Microsoft and Xbox.

If I would guess which game got pulled, it is Everwild. They can’t show it again without gameplay, getting silly at that point and maybe they realised that.

Hellblade 2 I don’t think was planned in the first place, they seem to be far off. Which sucks, we haven’t seen anything since 2019 after all.
