I can’t be the only one whose curious to see CoD WWII Vangaurd at this point… I mean the rumors paint the game as an unreleasable dumpster fire…
I NEED to see it.

An rpg can be 100 hours and never feel repetitive or a chore to play. Ubisoft games are not those.
Coming to Xbox after decades on PlayStation, one of the things I appreciate the most is a single SKU for games.
I mean, look at this:
BR SKU ID is PPSA01556
UK SKU ID is PPSA01557
JP SKU ID is PPSA01560
That’s only on PS4 – we have yet to consider the different SKUs of the PS5 version.
And then the physical versions have yet another SKU!
There are many downsides here. If you buy DLC on a different region, that will not work with your game. If you have the physical version and decide to go digital, your save won’t work.
And then there are stuff like multiple trophy lists:
Yep, I don’t miss that at all.
Witcher 3 is this to me. I had clocked in 102 hours when I finally finished it (main story, all side quests, treasure hunts and contracts). Aside from some treasure hunts, the quests all had different and intriguing stories that didn’t make the game seem repetitive at all. Now, if I were to clean the map, that would probably make me hate the game by the end of it, because the combat is not the game’s stronguest suit.
Just finished It takes Two with my brother.
This was really, really good. A good example of how a trailer can’t always be where you judge a game. When I saw the trailer last year I thought “ok, looks cool” but I didn’t expect it to be this awesome.
Already looking forward to their next game.
MLB 21 is no. 1 in the US Xbox store. Going multiplat seems to work out pretty well.
Mandalorian by The Coalition
Yeah, now that the Gold paywall is gone, make the base game (without the campaign, the expansion and the DLC leaders) free to play + release it on Steam. More people need to play RTSs.
Interesting. Does it have any way to monetize?
The game is done, they already said multiple times. It’s clear that it didn’t do well and it’s a pity, imo it paid the historic moment when it released, 2017 was the lowest point of Xbox imo, the culmination of the bad decisions of pre Phil regime (and coincidentally, also the time of his promotion). Game Pass is the only way, shape or form this game will exist on.
It’s not going to happen (Steam or free-to-play) but they could easily make a light version free-to-play (Multiplayer + Blitz with the 7 base leaders) while having the campaign, the Awakening the Nightmare expansion and the 9 DLC leaders locked behind the full game. Win-win for everyone.
I wish it would happen though because it’s no brainer. This game is fantastic but it released at the wrong time (no Game Pass / no Steam / Xbox One doing bad / RTS genre not having its best time).
I think that this fall/holiday will be Xbox’s best ever for us. Most of the big games in general are gunna be associated to Xbox.
I think far cry 6, horizon forbidden west, god of war ragnarok, elden ring breath of the wild 2 and Assassins creed all end up as 2022 titles.
That would leave modern warfare 2 remastered, back for blood, fifa, and battlefield as the big games besides all the Xbox stuff. If battlefield and maybe either back for blood or fifa launch into gamepass… holy shit.
Really wish Xbox wasn’t having supply issues, I think things are gunna go parabolic this holiday for Xbox. I had guessed that gamepass would reach 30 million subs by years end but now I’ll say I’m confident in 35 million, with 40 being a possibility.
Am I missing any big games that could release this year from outside Xbox? KOTOR remake? Anything else?
Ima be honest Halo Wars 2 is a bad game (besides Art direction) and a downgrade on everything that made the first one good to play.
Halo Wars 2 was not a balanced experience and they really never bothered to fix the DLC characters that broke the game nor did anything to counter the rushers.
If this is real, then it seems Xbox managed to get the marketing rights for it.
MS conference better not be on Monday. Sunday is so much more convenient lol
It says Xbox right there. Hmmmm…
Sunday was great.
