I assume so. I think that is how sony is going to counter xbox. Xbox has these studios that release games on xbox and sometimes switch but many major third party games like lets say tomb raider 4 sony will be the rights to. Full exclusive or timed it will be associatd with them. Sony doesn’t need 23 first party studios. They buy exclusives.

A part of me would like Phil and Satya to get petty… Make it known that whatever PS offers you for exclusivity, MS will double that offer for Game Pass. No exceptions. I think that would put an end to it.

I have no worries whatsoever for MS. They’ve got the backing of a 2 trillion dollard company, they’ve got the money, they have an ever-growing Game Pass that will make Sony timed exclusive deal harder and harder to do. Also, it is sure they are lokking to do more acquisitions.

this is not how these things work lol, MS itself don’t want to pay big for these type of deals. didn’t Imran say MS tried to get big timed exclusive games but they asked to much and MS decided is not worth it.

also you have to keep in mind relationship between the two party will play factor for these type of deal.

Yes, it will be mixed between full and timed

full like yesterday announcement or jade game and usual timed exclusivity

sony is market leader so these deals works for them very well

Sony should be wary of the publishers they target for moneyhats, because the need for money deals might hide a sellout.
