XboxEra Community Hangout |OT2| Cracking down on shitposting

Yep, never expected anything major here. I could say he teased a little too much for what it is, but still never expected anything major.

Yup. Let the folks working on things have a little fun and lighten the mood. No need to keep them constrained.

I’m just saying, a feature that didn’t even make the top 2 of new xbox related things we learned today, maybe didn’t need a twitter teaser campaign. But, it’s not a big deal

At least Progstopper seems to have slept through it

One thing to remember, when there’s something big coming, there are no teases. They just drop the bomb.

Never expect a tease for massive news.

Yeah, for a Nintendo Direct. In no way, shape or form that should that be announced on the Xbox showcase.

I think ProgStopper was temporarily suspended. That explains the lack of GIFS in the thread.

See, all of this is about mOar money. No one is hurting, they just want mOar. Super League, UEFA, FIFA, big clubs and players…it’s all the same. The sport and game has been lost for a long time, idgaf anymore tbh.

Of course, let them fight, honestly, I don’t really care, but I think it’s shitty behavior from the clubs and players themselves who want more money and think they can do their own thing. UEFA, corrupt as it is, has rules that are fair with clubs moving up and down to give the chances to smaller clubs to shine and to maintain a good sense of competition. It means something for fans too, as rules are important in any sport.

What these big clubs want is being assured to play and get the cash every year. I mean, it could work, but it’s not really something that will just happen like that. There will be backlash and critics from other clubs, tickets’ prices will rise, people will be angry. In Europe, especially in France, we have a problem with elitism and money in general, so many will probably just boycott these matches. Also, a lot of money come from player’s jerseys sold. A whole lot of cash for players and sponsors. I let you imagine the consequences. It will bring nothing good, that’s all I want to say. Some big names can survive this, but not whole teams.

This is really good.

I remember some feedback being taken on Reddit a few months ago about this, great to see.

I can see Fable being Microsoft’s big Fall/Holiday 2022 title with Forza Motorsport. Playground started in 2017 and I don’t believe that it would be a massive Ubisoft type game where it’s just freaking huge so I can see Fall 2022 as a possibility. I still believe that Everwild is Spring 2023. If they release it as an early access/beta game, I don’t see the point or purpose when there’s no reason to do that. The game needs to be content complete day one, not 2-3 years later.

I don’t know about Fable but Everwild is surely coming next year, I can bet on it.

This for every Microsoft release going forward.

Yeah, he has been banned until friday. Poor Prog, he must be like lion in a cage right now.

I’m sure every game now has enough time to be feature complete, see how Psychonauts 2 is taking their time to make everything perfect, and that’s not even a full exclusive.

Lol, he’s going to go into FULL overdrive when he comes back. We’ll need to prepare ourselves.

Yes we are just being cautious to avoid another Sea of Thieves launch situation. Halo Infinite delaying was a good sign.
