Nah, they did this last year too. It’s saying what will be available at their booth to play and talk about. Announcements are a different thing entirely. As far as that goes we only really know that COD will get a new trailer and shown off.

That we’re still in beta official feels weird. Like I’d get it if it was insiders only, but this is kinda bad for the entire program and all users to be going through. The rewards program is how you keep consumers loyal and engaged in your ecosystem. In theory everything should be done to avoid blips like this and keep it running smoothly for the end user.
Damn! 90 games! They’re really going hard on library streaming.

Lies. My self-worth is intrinsically tied to everyone liking exactly what I like and hating exactly what I hate. Not like it’s all subjective or anything and all that matters in gaming is our own enjoyment

They’ve been going hard. Maybe we see Game Pass cloud gaming exit beta by the end of this year or early next year.

Having gone through two playthroughs in the last week, I’d forgotten how much the first Dark Souls is a twisted comfort game for me. Got me through some incredibly hard times when it came out; feels apropos to be back in its world.

It’s a pretty fun game, whenever I go back to it, I always have Elden Ring buttons in mind, so it takes me a few hours to adjust.

I never played enough of Elden Ring to have that problem (I know, I know… I own it and Erdtree, my ADHD just sucks, now coupled with everything else)…
As for Dark Souls, it really is, and the lore of that trilogy is nigh-unparalleled. I can get lost in lore videos for days and love just exploring Lordran; the entire game’s world design is incredible.

The world design for the original is probably why I enjoy watching speedruns for it so much. People taking advantage of the way it connects to sequence break, can look super smooth.
