Persona 3 Reload, Farming Simulator 2022, and Anthem (because of EoS), are leaving Game Pass by August 15. Have to wait for Tuesday for next line-up.
If you are still using the press A twice to start a game on Xbox, does pressing X to directly start a game work at all? For some reason this stopped working for me.
I got used to the whole game hub appearing when pressing A once, and just having to press X once to start a game instead, but it stopped working. No idea why.
It should still work, but I went into the settings and set it back to A once to start the game.
So, Nate has talked some more, and he says unannounced games from Sony. Specifically, games that Sony hasnât announced for Xbox.
Interesting. So he doesnât mean already released games for PS5, but I imagine those will come eventually too.
Itâs probably easier to trace on games whatâs coming since theyâre being developed as those in the past may be on hold for perhaps more staff or partners to work on it. Take HD2 for example. I donât know whoâs porting the game. Is it devs themselves or someone else?
BioShock just canât catch a break. Epic level of mismanagement to go from one of the most well-known and successful FPS series ever to skipping two generations because they just canât manage to get a game out the door.
I wouldnât Be surprised if Horizon Zero Dawn was one of the games they look to port. Sony seems utterly determined to make that IP a thing.
Tried the game on PS4, I didnât dislike it but it didnât grab me enough to make me want to finish it. Achievements would totally push me over the edge though.
I recently played it and thought it was enjoyable, but I didnât see it as something that stands out immensely compare to other open world games. The real appeal is enemy types that arenât resort to humans only. Of course, graphic too. Aside from those, itâs pretty enjoyable standard game.
I remember seeing the concept art for it on Neogaf waaaay back (when I used to post there ) before the game was officially announced and thought it was the coolest thing ever. Then I saw the gameplay when they showed it off for the first time and it was typical Sony fare, Taking itself way too seriously with the subject matter. You have friggin Dinobots for fucks sake. Have fun with that shit , not everything needs to be TLOU.
I hope we get to go inside buildings such as houses or office buildings in Powerwash Simulator 2. The first one didnât have that.
Also really curious as to what licensed content theyâll be bringing. Imagine a partnership with Xbox to have Halo content or Gears related content, would be so awesome.
I really hope Gamescom brings a update on PS2.
Its completely predictable, far-too-serious plot was the next biggest reason I ditched the game, behind the âletâs hope Sony players havenât played an Ubisoft game from the last decadeâ game structureâŚ
Iâm playing the second now and itâs so earnest, itâs quite off-putting. The combat is fun and itâs very, very well-made, but the designers-via-Aloy are terrified you wonât know where to go, what to do, remember anything etc. She is constantly talking out loud about her goals, in the most Everything Is Serious way (and then you have the classic open world trap: URGENT MISSION, so itâs time to side quest).
That coupled with crafting that might as well not be there for how much attention you want/need to give the details, that overly-familiar US-Marvel-pop-culture edge of humour and a quite ridiculous amount of UI, categories of mission/data/items etc, and it feels like a really weird blend of designed-by-committee standard open worlder, but also a game made with immense amounts of skill and love: itâs beautiful, itâs incredibly slick and the monsters are always cool.
Good point, but i would say Uncharted makes the most sense as it would be an interesting competitor towards tomb raider for xbox user attention, but that is my personal opinion.
That or maybe even the likes of Days Gone, mostly so Bend Studios could get some addional revenue that they look like they are in extreme need for.
Death Stranding 2 make perfect sense since the first managed to get even more players to play and it seems like it was a hit with many fans me included.
Considering the Decima engine has been used for Death Stranding and that game already runs on Xbox, I guess one could assume it would be easier to port considering there is some dev experience there, although thatâs mostly KojiPro I guess.
I also wouldnât expect any super old game to be ported, but I could see stuff thatâs been made available on PS4 and upwards making its way over.
