… Sony doesn’t really have live titles, so I see no point hiring for that. They will be bringing their SP games to Xbox. At this point what is the difference between Steam and Xbox to them. Also, this makes more sense for them than Xbox as their SP games once released on their platform gets no second wind until a DLC or sequel which could range from 5 plus year or more. Chances are at this Gamescom the Xbox Ally X will make a big splash and every store on one box would ignite again. The idea of PlayStation games staying exclusive will take a huge hit later this year. I would expect something like Returnal and Ratchet first considering they would like to make Ratchet bigger and Returnal did not even reach a million sales.

…e very expensive. This Management position was top salary around $370K Salary. That is without the cost of benefits that Sony would also cover. They had 2 direct reports which were also management which are possibly $250K and $125K respectively going by the relative positions. A company does not staff up at least 3 job positions that is around $1 Million US Dollars in Salary and Benefits if you’re only going to be doing GaaS titles. On top of that, there will be additional positions supporting those 3. Games which fall into the 3 categories I listed before make business sense to be everywhere. That is why Sony is staffing up and putting at least a million into this yearly. Those PlayStation fans are in the denial or bargaining phase, much like Xbox fans were in with the “only 4 games” phase.

Well then I am super interested in seeing how things will go because I am all for it. I still don’t have a PS5 and the more we get into this deep the more I’m starting to wonder if I will get one at all because Xbox and the ever growing backlog keeps me busy plenty.

I wonder when we’re gonna start seeing this, but I’ll be like Michael in the Thriller video in the cinema looking at all the reactions by the truly crazy, in denial Sony fans. These type of fans…

I’ve got a new PC and am loving Returnal. Horizon Forbidden West, on the other hand, is gorgeous and yet feels so so so so so so familiar, in a dull way.

Like with anything, there’s a mixed range and the more access people have, the better, you’d think. The way gaming treats X portfolio as sacred cows and Y portfolio as ‘meh’ is dumb as fuck, and the sooner we’re moving past this the better.

Horizon Zero Dawn, beside that cool Robot-Dino hunting and fighting, which is the only thing that is fine in that game gameplay wise, is a 7.5 for me at best.

If it wasn’t a showcase for the PS4 and had a different character, it would be already forgotten like Days Gone. The story was so dumb.

Seems that way yeah, my guess was there was a hold up as they worked out the contracts for the VAs. As Sarah’s VA had posted that she was happy to be back in the studio recording(could have been for a different game though), not too long after the showcase this year.

Oh snap, ultimate add-on sale on Xbox. I am glad I didn’t buy all the Powerwash Simulator dlc last week.

But man, it’s like this game was sensing I was taking a break from it, because I’m gonna get all of them except Shrek because I bought that last week.
