10% of all gaming revenue is very high. this should terrify all other publishers.
They donât mean a 10% share, they mean 10% of all the money that gaming makes on the planet.
The only revenue they can share is their own though, I get theyâre trying to be the only game in town. But CoD, Fortnite and Minecraft and all other games across Console, PC and Mobile make that impossible imo.
Oh okay, I missed that part. They are just laying out thier targets for world domination
Looking a little closer, they are sort of making an announcement about copyright holders making it easier to license things. I know Squid Games has been huge on Roblox for years now so Iâm guessing some of those properties were already getting something.
Roblox is basically signaling theyâve reached an inflection point.
They built their empire on users creating levels of all trending ip. Now Roblox feels big enough on its own to say we are going to start enforcement on copyright/ offer a solution to companies to be compensated for certain IP.
Heres something wild to remember.
Roblox launched on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on October 10, 2023. My kid was playing it on Nintendo and Xbox for years before PlayStation ended thier feud with Roblox.
Jim Ryan was one stubborn SOB
Switch 2 version is coming early next year. They got the kit I see. Also, itâs not key card. Sega coming for that kill.

Maybe itâs the area but damn, what an upgrade!
According to several sources, these layoffs will initially target China (200 people) but will also affect many other departments, including the French studios responsible for the recent success TES IV Oblivion Remastered.
Yet somehow Xbox will be the target.
Well, at the end of the day itâs all the fault ofâŠ
Series S.
I hope the game is great because the price sure is.

Guys, you have everyoneâs money for Switch 2. Can you like chill?
Nintendo just being an asshole.
Edit: Specially when they changed a patent in the middle of a lawsuit because it didnât align with how they were arguing their case. Absolute BS!
I find it all so hypocritical. Nintendo is built upon copyright infringement. Most art is derivative by nature. Just off the top of my head.. Metroid borrowed from Aliens. Luigiâs Mansion borrowed from Ghostbusters. Dr. Mario borrowed from Tetris⊠these are just some of the most egregious examples, there are probably many many more. But hereâs the deal, thatâs fine, those games stand on their own as fun ripoffs. They grow into thier own thing with lore and branch off into new directions. Nintendo attacking Palworld is way out of line.
IGN still has not learned⊠If itâs exactly like Rogue City but better, like Jesse has said in his review, itâs what fans want.
They still think all games should be AAA cookie cutter games. Games can be a bit goofy, formulaic and a bit repetitive, just like 360 era video games and thatâs not a bad thing here.

Remember:
This is Xbox fault.
I see Prototype 1 and 2 in the sales on Xbox store, but itâs not in Game Pass. This is a Activision IP. What am I missing here? Whyâs it not added to the service?
Or was this available for Xbox One and Series via BC already?
Still, I donât get why itâs not added.

Well⊠Thatâs not something I was expecting.
