Well, shit,sigh.
It is pretty clear why - to save other projects, they had to killed long overspend ones. It sucks, but three games which were deeply into investment and had yet to produce were on the chopping block.
Youâre right but itâs so discouraging for these games to churn for years and years and then nothing comes of it. Almost makes me want to stop paying attention to the industry behind-the-scenes stuff and just learn about games when they come out.
Yeah, but it makes me wonder what happens for ZOS now. Finally a brand new game by them, it sounded promising. Wonder how far along it was too. So whatâs next, ZOS starts over again making a yet unannounced game?
This so much!
probably not an MMO, probably not a new IP, probably smaller scope.
When Blizzard tried to make Project Titan and realized it wouldnât work, instead we got Overwatch. I remember being hyped for years awaiting the next big MMO from Blizzard, but today I donât even play World of Warcraft anymore, and my guess is Blizzard probably realized people donât change from one MMO to the next; they stick to what they know. Maybe ZOE could take the concept and turn it into something thatâs not an MMO akin to what Blizzard did with Titan.
Realistically, we have the big dominating MMOs and people have so much invested in those that they wonât move elsewhere. I think supporting ESO with bigger backing and more content for the long run makes more sense than starting a new MMO as itâs a known quantity, a big franchise, and it has its devoted userbase. It always sounds exciting to get a new MMO, but in the end, itâs very high risk.
Iâd say they should work on a Fallout MMO, but I guess Fallout 76 kinda fills that void.
Anthem was fun. I played the entire campaign solo. I donât really understand why they made it âonline onlyâ or why they canât disable it to keep it playable in the future.
Itâs exactly how I pictured a Iron Man game.

Can someone tell me how to block youtube channels from appearing on youtube home page even without an account?
I have been seeing this endymion fellow guy or smashtv appear on my screen constantly and i to not watch grifter videos and its getting to the point that is very annoying to see anything from them. Like get a life and get information that is true to the fact and not to appeal to people who blindly puts these folk on pedestrals like some to with asmongold, its ridiculous.
Under the thumbnail to the right should be a few dots, click on that and choose âDo not recommend this channelâ.
Edit: Ah, without an account Iâm not sure. Maybe you can still hide them that way?
I donât think itâs possible without an account. Maybe there is a third party app that makes it possible, but Iâm not sure.
Hell even with an account your search results get spammed with these grifters. One would expect to see pages of upon pages of gameplay when you look for a walkthrough on Youtube. Instead you get like 5 videos that fit your search term, and the rest is barely related and infested with grifters. Canât wait till a new vid hosting website takes off, becaise Youtube deserves to die a thousand deaths at this point.
Awesome!
Agreed, while social media etc have a huge role to play in the de-evolving of humanity back to fucking morons, YouTube has a special place in hell for helping so much with it by not only encouraging the watching of conspiracy theories, intolerant & hateful propaganda and mind-numbingly stupid shit, but actually paying the twats that make it.
I see news stories about this Mr Beast guy for example getting poor people to compete for his money, or those other Prime idiots doing dumb stuff, or some abusive parents whoâve forced their young children into a life of unboxing videos or teen angst drama and think how the fuck is that even allowed let alone encouraged.
When Xbox had the YouTube panel on the Bing app when doing rewards I noticed all the influencers do the same crap too - theyâll all do âgoing back to schoolâ or âI made a secret McDonaldâs in my gaming room!â within the space of a few days of each other.
Even seeing the thumbnails and titles I felt braincells dying - it really makes you fear for humanityâŚ
If you want to know just how dumb the mainstream has become, people will click on any video with an arrow on the thumbnail, or with someone making a shocked face, or with random capitalized words in the title.
Itâs depressing.
Andy Robinson has been hearing talk Bajo Kazooie pitches.
I would trust Moon or Toys for Bob with Banjo.
