Seeing the discourse online around Halo:CE Remake having some radical changes and not being just a simple visual remake makes my head hurt…Halo has the most toxic “core community” from all the big/classic AAA games (Resident Evil has it’s share of weirdos and a lot of shitty hot takes too I guess).
The “purists” should keep their OG Xbox/360 plugged in, play the original versions there (because I am sure they can nitpick MCC to death), accept that the series is not for them anymore and just move on…is this really that hard to do? saying shit like “343 doesn’t get it” and “they are taking out what makes Halo Halo” only at the freakin’ thought of sprint added on CE is insane, like wtf is wrong with those people? jfc
