… I’ve been pointing out the classist reporting of the media/zeitgeist for years, whilst literally calling Game Pass a necessity for some families to be able to game (because of being an intelligent adult who’s seen the economic downturn happening since 2016…). I still remember being laughed at… and now the journalists are just leaning into their “Game Pass must die”. Maybe it’s the current games media that should die at this point, because the populace deserve better and the economy isn’t going to be turning around any time soon, and that exact populace isn’t going to be dining on free games like the other party does… When you add in the additional analyses you mentioned, it just makes the situation even more apparent.

Agreed. It really is a brain rot. It seems like they are against anything good, just look at the attack on Team Cherry for Silk Song.
