I agree. I don’t have a problem with Colin and will agree with him from time to time but I realized that he along with other PlayStation fanboys/extremists, they tend to care about all this other bullshit that in all honesty, doesn’t concern them at all. Even on the PlayStation side, I own a PS5 Pro, it’s not my concern of how much money Sony makes or not. Both companies have great hardware and have released great games for me which is all I care about.
In my mind, over the last few years I have realized that there’s NOTHING Microsoft can do to win over people who have been against them either in general or since Xbox existed in 2001. They can’t win. Instead of people being excited that Microsoft is going to attempt to do something different within console gaming, everyone is like, where are the exclusives, how are you going to make money, why aren’t you just sticking with the old business model?
And im like, because after 40+ years, shit needs to change and Microsoft is the only company that takes chances on changing shit while the other two just stick with what they’ve been since their inception.
No matter how great an Xbox showcase ends up being or how many great games they release in a year or that they have the best services and features by far over the other two combined, all these people regardless of who they are or what they did seem to always come out of the woodwork just to bitch and shit on Microsoft and Xbox.
It’s very tiresome. And it’s like, if people don’t like what Microsoft is doing then they should just do what I do with Nintendo - ignore them and concentrate on the stuff that you actually like but nope, that’s too difficult for all of these people to do.
