All I said in my review is that it gets completely bonkers crazy as the story goes on, it’s so good. It’s so over the top.

I watched your review Jesse, so I was prepared and waiting for something to blow me away, whatever it was, and still I was amazed and stunned by some of the spectacle.
I don’t want to say too much, but for people interested in the game, if you’re (even remotely) a fan of the WH 40K universe, you need to play this game at some point.
Edit : it was more of a warning for people searching for walkthroughs on youtube, please don’t do that to yourself !

Yeah i was agreeing with you, it’s so much bigger/crazier than I think anyone can expect. It just keeps ramping up the spectacle in crazier ways, freaking loved it.

That shit is the devil, and so tricky. I had that with RDR2 last year. There was some stuff I wanted to know, about where to find a certain item, nothing story related, yet I got a massive story spoiler that way.

How did he have people fooled if anything this is more of the Jason Schrier putting down people. He said he reached out to him never said Jason said anything other than that he expects he would report on it. It’s still up in the air if the news is true.
I tried the training mode and they wanted me to dash right, jump and shoot a target at the same time and I just couldn’t get it. Still interested in the main game but I won’t be bothering with multiplayer

I think it would be impactful because:

Most people are out of the loop. Most of the gaming audience are a casual gaming audience that don’t really know up from down. But this game is highly anticipated and seeing all ads for the game with the name “Xbox” tied to it makes the brand relevant.

It allows Xbox to push the Series S as the entry point for next generation gaming for a large portion of the casual gaming audience.

And as you’ve stated it’s a defensive move. It helps the brand remain in the zeitgeist. This is going to be a moment where we will see console sales jump and it would be wise for the Xbox to try to get a large portion of that.
Not to say that I don’t see your point. Did marketing rights with Cyberpunk really help? Keanu Reeves on stage during the Xbox showcase was pretty much rebranded to “Keanu Reeves showed up to E3” by the gaming and news media.
But this is, after all, the most anticipated title in a decade. We’re delving into a cultural moment or a defining moment of the entertainment industry, when it comes to the game’s launch.

Just did the intercept battle for the Hangedman colossus in First Descendant, my first attempt was a complete failure.
So I went on YouTube be to learn about the mechanics, what I learned is that during the fight we have to shoot the colossus until the cylinders underneath are nearly full. Then pick up a small box and run away, now while one person is running the others have to shoot the colossus in its mouth where it’s immunity weakness is located.
Once the battery is blow the person running with the box needs to return it to the cylinders to force the colossus to be vulnerable. This last part wasn’t covered by the youtube video as it seems may not be aware of the return phase of the fight.

He assumed Jason would report on it based on the report he believed he had. Not saying the report is true or not, there is a chance his sources were wrong. The thing though is Jason to me doesn’t like to share the limelight with others. Look at how quick he went discrediting Jeff Grubb. I think wanting Jason to corroborate a story is fine, but he should have done that before making any announcement.

Hahah same. It took many attempts and I hit the target eventually. It did not feel very natural to me. Felt very forced to execute that move. Never used that in the PVP.
