Geez, it’s like parody at this point. What was the last game she successfully released, Watch Dogs 1?

I heard AC Brotherhood but I could be wrong.

It’s funny that controllers are in a way more vital than consoles considering you need them in some form for every platform be it in the form of a mouse or sophisticated accessory.

ID Soft may have outdone themselves again, I’m early in the game but damn it feels so good to play.

What is happening…

Played the first 5 levels last night and the game definitely feels great to play, I am still pressing the “wrong” buttons since muscle memory from Eternal is still strong in me but overall the game is fun and engaging (playing on Nightmare) so far.

Graphically it looks really nice too (RTGI really adds to the overall depth of the visuals), runs flawlessly but id needs to include an option to disable film grain and fix the sharpness option which is indeed broken (FOV option works just fine btw) because the game is a bit too much on the soft side IMO…art direction wise is beautiful and the atmosphere of the game is excellent.

The sound mixing is decent (but I am playing with DTS Headphone X) and as Jesse said the music so far is not bad in any way but way less memorable than the previous games…and I am including both expansions from Eternal that had some freakin’ great tracks from Andrew Hulshult and David Levy.

Overall having a lot of fun with the game and can’t wait to play Chapter 6 tonight!

Bethesda: It’s a good thing our release did not harm anyone!

SNK CEO: Goodbye, everybody!

Yeah, MaximilianDood was talking about it apparently they went overboard with the marketing and while the game sold well. It wasn’t enough to offset it, like I just saw them do some marketing on YouTube with Ado.

I want to see the reaction if this happened at 343. instead the Bungie defence force is already underway.

i swear no other studio is getting away with it like Bungie does. Imagine Nintendo would vault stages from Smash or Mario Kart which are on your paid cartridge and you cant play them anymore.

I’ll bet a clip version is coming. They definitely went crazy on marketing. I mean it was the main one for WrestleMania 41. I thought NJPW took over. Also in NYC, it was showing visuals in the tall building. You would think CoD made a fighting game.

Feels backward to me.

Makes me wonder if this is done to sell another dock that will allow it in the future after update? Or if no update needed if a 3rd party dock can be used to allow it.

If I followed the tech correctly, the limiting part is inside the main Nintendo Switch 2 handheld. So even if you had a better dock, you still couldn’t route the better output signal with VRR.

Just a quick shout-out and thank you to @Knottian @Shadowgasm @Staffy @BRiT for your TV suggestions.

I opted for the LG G4 which finally arrived yesterday albeit very late. I did look at the G5 too however comparing them side by side seemed negligible for the 2x price difference.

I’m absolutely loving it so far and the free 5.1 Dolby Atmos soundbar it came with has also been very impressive too. I’ve never had VRR on my main TV so gaming feels so different now, it’s literally buttery smooth.

There’s so many features I have been missing out on it’s incredible, it’s literally a completely different experience.

Edit: This weekends job is to install the LG Sync App and Philips Hue lights so my Hue lights all react to what’s on the screen (along with lots of cable management).
