Given the time gap of the initial cancellation and this new stunt, I’m inclined to agree. No org is perfect but if there were widespread issues, there would be far more noise directly from devs… Not to dive too deep here but I always find the timing of these negative stories for Xbox curiously and totally-coincidentally timed with arguably bigger bad-news for Sony.
It’s a common tactic used in media in other industries and anyone pretending, at this point, that games media is any different (especially when the majority is owned by a single entity), needs to get their head checked.

State of Decay 3 has a huge potential, every zombie survival game lately is turning out to be trash or just a scam, and these games are still very demanded even if some people think that subgenre’s days are over.
Both SoD3 and Dayz 2 can’t come soon enough

Very good news.
It would be a nice gesture I guess if they took back those words though. Something something Xbox doesn’t care about Enotria and doesn’t care about you. I understand frustration, but that was far, far from professional.
Now let’s get Wukong to Xbox ASAP please, but yeah, we’ll see about that.

Wukong is rather sticky situation as in “This is just business…Lord Business.” In other words, that’s more of the messier side.
I’m gonna forget about that one for a while and hope we at least hear something official before year’s end. That’s definitely the best way to go with this. Sigh.
I forget who, but at least 1 person picked it up on the discord and a few others showed interest in it too.
Just for this once I’ll post one too, because it’s so good and true as well.

Probably not Xbox, but Switch. But who knows. I do wish he’d just wait and post a tweet with concrete info instead of this, but I get why they do this.
I did post one about Honkai Starail in which is at this time PS exclusive. Now granted, not only the news for that game could be something else, but his choice of words is vague. Like when he said exclusive, does he mean first party games or exclusive via third party. Time will tell, but the post I mentioned seems like he’s certain about what he has gotten.
Edit: Ah never mind. It was something else. For that story, we’ll wait and see.

September 10 is coming up, and I believe that is the last day to purchase GP Core cards before the current exchange scheme expires? We have up to this weekend to max out our GP Ultimate subscriptions?
Let me get the calculations straight then:
- find out todays date and add 3 years (1095 days) to it, so
Sept 5, 2024 to Sept 5, 2027 = 1095 days (A)
- find out how many days from today to when my current subscription ends (May 18, 2026):
May, 18, 2026 - Sept 5, 2024 = 620 days (B)
- get the number of days you need to extend your sub to three years by
A - B = 475 days (C)
- fin d out how may lots of GPU that is by
C / 50 = 9.5 (D)
- find out how many months of GP Core is needed to purchase by
D * 3 = 28.5
- divide by 12 to get the number of 12 month cards
28.5 / 12 = 2 cards + 4.5 months.
So the total GPC cards I would need to purchase is 2x12 month cards and 4x1month cards.
Is my calculations correct?

If anyone’s sitting on some rewards points, 3 months GPU is currently still available for 35,000 points. (Equivalent to €11.67 per month.)
