Nintendo just upped accessory prices and PlayStation 5 went up in EU/UK/AUS so it wouldn’t be a shocker.

I believe the effect is coming in, like how one company talked about physical edition will be limited for now due to tariffs, so it won’t be easy.

Physics based fighters can be a lot of fun. I had a lot of fun with Mad Streets with my nephew yesterday. It’s not a game I’d buy perse, but it’s on GP and worth a try. This service can be perfect for those type of games.

Since I invite friends over for couch multiplayer gaming I always look for games no matter the genre but I balked at this because of the incredibly low review score. Looking at your comment and reading those reviews now, it seems like they didn’t realize the goal of the game. It’s not a competitive fighter. It’s for ridiculous fun.

So I’ll definitely try it out when they come over.

That’s exactly it. It’s just fun. The over the top characters but especially their movement is hilarious, the sounds when you hit others is fun. Some of the moves like throws seem random and you can throw folks super far at times. Me and my nephew had good fun and laughs with this game. That’s just it, good, dumb, mindless fun.

Clair obscur is so good, last months I was only using gamepass for indies & some “old” games on the catalog, this day one piece of art makes me feel like I won a nice gain on a small lottery ticket

I am not a player that usually like turn-based games so I would probably not have bought/played this game outside of game pass

People should remember/know that Microsoft rewards is still among the better reward that can reward you Game Pass Ultimate, let alone core.

Kind of weird to see an Xbox studio do a 5 minute video on a major game basically advertising the PS5 Pro… talking about the new Doom trailer which shows some cool new footage and is hyping up the PS5 Pro’s capabilities, not necessary IMO, Sony is never gonna do this even if their business depended on it, the game is coming out on PS5 and everyone knows this and that’s good enough IMO.

Yesterday night player count was 45.133M Right now (at same time) it is 45.272

I saw it go up on Xbox’s most played so this makes sense, it seems like the PS5 release had a boost of players on Xbox, maybe a lot of people who never tried it before on Xbox and saw the PS5 announcement.

I doubt it, the only deals I remember are the timed exclusives Sony got when Microsoft acquired Bethesda, I doubt there was anything else, especially 4 years later, I just think this is weird and out of touch stuff from Microsoft or Bethesda, they don’t gain anything by doing it.

What Sony does or doesn’t do is not relevant to MS’s business. They made the video to show the game using the PS5 Pros capabilities to further advertise the game because they want it to sell as well as it can in that platform.

The game has been at several Xbox focused shows, so doing a five minute video isn’t all that lol.

Xbox got a console wrap, an elite controller, and a standard controller as well as a dynamic background for the game. Meanwhile PS got a video that everyone can watch. It’s a company trying to advertise their game to different markets so they get more sales. It’s all marketing, but it seems you and some others can’t identify marketing even when it’s hitting you smack in the face.

Expedition 33 has some impressive numbers on Steam, I saw it at 120K today, I wonder if Oblivion wouldn’t have launched the way that it did if Expedition would have seen even better numbers, anyway, happy to see it doing so well, Xbox players basically got a new and better FF game and on Game Pass as well! also glad that Microsoft seemingly got to them first for a Game Pass deal because if they would’ve dealt with Sony that game would have 100% been a 2 year or lifetime PS exclusive and we all know it, thankfully we’re not in that dark timeline right now, maybe this gets SE to release FF on Xbox already.

I’m loving it, had to stop my Oblivion play through for the moment to play this, but I’m glad Oblivion shadow dropped or certain reviewers would have undoubtedly try to kill the momentum before it launched, since the game shadow dropped and everyone got to play at the same time as them, the bad faith reviewers attempts failed.

None of that improves the experience for Xbox players, like a Pro console would’ve, but that’s all I have to say on the matter, we just disagree on this and that’s ok.
