The detailing that Nintendo will do is, āItās the Switch 2. Here are the new games for it.ā They probably will say the release date too. Iām unsure if they reveal the price on April 2nd.

Semi-on topic, I want the best for the industry but Iām skeptical that Switch 2 is going to hit the peaks the first did, and not because of the āNintendo curseā at all. Weāre living in a different world than when the Switch was released, and I donāt mean the digital/physical transition or the slow death of exclusives, but the literal state of the world and the lack of disposable income most people simply donāt have. Iāll be picking one up, if the cost and games justify it (and I still have a job by that point), but the landscape isnāt the same as 2017 
I do hope they do enhance the Switch games, even if itās a long shot as sad that sounds. I mean obviously games is important, especially day one, but I want to be intrigued with its tools like Series consoles with Quick Resume. Time will tell.
I was going to ask a question here but I decided to ask Co-Pilot instead and I learned something new! I thought I would share here for people who may not know.
I was looking at this to stream my prototype games from my office to my living room to show friends. It looks like it doesnāt support more than one controller, unfortunately. But Iām thinking a solution for that is to get a USB extension cord and put the windows wireless controller adapter on the end of it and see how close I can get that to the living room.
Iāll be trying it out later today or tomorrow. If the quality was comparable to Parsec that would be incredible.
Yep. Not to mention no COVID and I feel like (at least for myself and folks I know) the Switch gen 1st party output has been pretty mixed and so further iterative sequels are not inspiring.
Exactly! Animal Crossing was always a mid/lower-tier IP until New Horizons launched right when we went into lockdown, and like you said there have been quite a few sequels that havenāt hit as well as Nintendo wanted.
