It’s what I have been saying. Also, where were you (not Nick, anyone who bash Xbox for sales flop for third party) for FFR? You legitimately told CEO to change plan. That’s how you much you failed.
It isn’t a shift. It was in fact the most powerful console when it released four years ago. A mid gen upgrade from a competitor, an exorbitantly priced on at that, doesn’t change that. And it doesn’t change the fact that the next Xbox will likely be drastically more capable that a PS5 Pro.
I’m not sure what you mean, I know it was the most powerful console both 7 and 4 years ago. Since the Xbox One X, Xbox has touted “the most powerful console” and people have gotten used to that. I would call it a shift when that is no longer the case.
If I’m spending an hour a night playing a live service title for 20 days in a month, that’s 240 hours spent on that one game that I could have used to play around 12-20 different games in that year.
Hellblade II has been nominated in a few categories, but other than that it’s a pretty light year for Xbox. Minecraft in ongoing game… oh, and Fable, Indy, and South of Midnight in “Most Wanted” or whatever the upcoming games category is called.
I think that might be it in terms of Xbox published games, although I may be overlooking something.
Yeah, that’s how they roll every year. To be fair, games released since November last year are eligible, but that still leaves out any game released in October. That’s also how they roll every year.
