Jesus some of the comments there like âyou guys canât do anything right, just got lucky with Dead by Daylightâ etc. Some people are justâŚfuckers. Honesty is fine, but so it in a more humane way?
Good luck finding them.
I like Final Fantasy games, but they need to get their heads out of their butts and realize that the constant jerking fans around and bait-and-switch is stopping them from building a consistent audience. They laid the foundation for an audience on Xbox with FF13 and 15 and then basically gave them the middle finger and told them to F off, we donât want you.
I would hold off on all the DLSS hype as we dont know if in mobile form it has enough to do anything meaningful, even when docked. Yes, technically is could support it, but can it do anything more than 720p to 1080p?
Also we tend to forget that but SE also announced at X19 that a lot of the classic past FF titles were coming to Game PassâŚthis company man. lol
Just pray the new CEO is really understanding on the current landscape. Thereâs a reason why the old one is gone in the first place.
I would argue that the DLSS aspect doesnt even matter if the specs are accurate.

I like his headlines.
Arguably, one of the greatest remaster collections of all time - the GBA/DS Castlevanias are considered to be among the best in the series for a bevy of great reasons (I love SotN but would easily place Aria and Dawn of Sorrow a mile ahead).
Where are the specs? I just see a model number for the SOC in that screenshot.
Yeah I donât know about this. My hot take is that FF7 Rebirth wasnât up to snuff in the first place. It has no excuse for looking as blurry as it does on PS5. The solution should have been to improve the existing game rather than just brute force it to acceptability with a more powerful console.
Oh good. I thought I was alone.
Rumored specs are
- 8 core Arm CPU
- Nvidia T239 - Ampere (3000 series) base GPU with back ported features from newer cards (allegedly supports DLSS 3.5). Estimated to be somewhere in range of PS4 - PS4 Pro between docked/undocked with the more advanced GPU features of more modern GPUs
- 12GB RAM
- 256GB Storage
CPU/GPU Clocks unknown.
Most likely around a steam deck but more performant. Either way, with what Nintendo got out of the Switch hardware (Luigis Mansion 3 in particular), these specs are pretty good and Nintendo should be able to work some magic with them.
Holy hell FF7 Rebirth looked bad. That is a game that they should not even have offered a performance mode.
