Oh, it just occurred to me that OW2 is now on Xbox PC, which is why I was confused on why they made it sound like it’s a full priced game. Should be nice for my ROG Ally.

How to destroy one of the strongest gaming IP’s in a few steps.
Rebirth is the only worthy Final Fantasy released in the last… 15? years (outside of FF14), the word of mouth keeps getting worse, then they release their 100-200M budget games exclusively on a platform with 50-60M users, what could go wrong right?
Hope after Rebirth’s good word of mouth, PC/Xbox sales will be a bit better than FF16, and it’ll have better legs than Remake or FF16, and of course, that they understand whats the way to go with the Final Fantasy franchise, but honestly i really doubt it, it seems like there’s a lack of talent and a lot of bad decisions in there.

So basically that whole timed exclusivity deal didn’t help them at all.
Wonder how long Rebirth is exclusive and then of course also part 3, sigh. Hopefully they just finally announce 16 and 7R for Xbox this month. Enough is enough with the damned wait.

I enjoyed FF15 for what it was, but I eventually got so bored in Remake with it just being corridors / small open spaces and padding for the sake of it so never tried Rebirth.
Will give FF16 a go probably, and if Rebirth is a lot better than Remake might finally hop back on that train…

They say PlayStation is the leader of the trio but surely that’s Nintendo? The Switch has more sold than everyone else combined.
Otherwise mostly agree - Sony are trying to Apple their most devoted followers to maximise margins, in order to compensate for the tiny margins made from the casual crowd…

Plays surprisingly well on xCloud, too. Like really well.
I can somewhat understand skipping xbox, but to skip PC is insane. The Playstation exlcusive deal really hurt Square’s pockets. They should’ve followed Sega and made their franchises multiplatform. Going multiplatform is the reason why Yakuza and Persona franchises were able to grow

Specs wise would that be a good upgrade (for docked gaming) over Switch? Close to PS4 (Pro)?
At a bare minimum around a PS4/Xbox One/Steam Deck but with current Nvidia rendering capabilities (and DLSS).
The current switch is somewhere around an Xbox 360/PS3 but with more advanced rendering abilities.
