It took me a while to get back into the Souls games…
But tomorrow I’m finally gonna get Elden Ring. 25 euros for a hard copy. Not bad at all.

No rumblings just my thoughts. I think if they finish the year strong it would make a lot of sense to start it strong also the game has been in development for a long time and has been said to be pretty expensive. Better to give it as much time as possible to breathe and hopefully it would be the game that defines the year like Elden ring and Hogworth’s.

You never know maybe they use the Ghibli style. Personally I’d prefer something more different
However nostalgia might be something they want to incorporate. Honestly I think games like this should be what Xbox should be working on publishing just like they did Ninja Gaiden 2 Black and the upcoming NG4. Chrono trigger is a game not many know about and would need a marketing platform like Game Pass. Another game that could use Xbox publishing and Game Pass would be a Shenmue remake.
Is this the price increase? Because yeah, we have seen it and sucks. These tarriffs are so fucking stupid and it’s going to screw everyone over.
Now I just wonder how widespread All Access is? because I myself will only buy a future Xbox through it when my Series X dies.

No, sorry. It’s also not just about Nostalgia, it would be like deciding to change the style for Dragon Quest.
Price increase is still less than full inflation adjustment, though.
It’s still an increase brought about from the tariff, and one that won’t be going down.

I wonder when we can expect Sony’s as they haven’t raised the price yet in the US and while that lasts, the price difference with Xbox is so big it would really make the Series consoles non competitive while the PS5 keeps its price lead.
I think they keep the price for a bit to get some extra sales in the US, but I doubt Sony will just take the hit all current gen. As they’re also trying keep more of the money they make.

What is a very fun class/character to use in Elden Ring?
I suck at rolling, I have never been able to nail the whole iframes thing and I finished Dark Souls 1 and 2 with pyromancer +sword build. Would mage warrior or whatever it’s called be fun in ER? And when necessary I could always grab a shield to block. But the whole rolling through enemy attacks is not for me.
There’s technically no mage warrior, since builds in Elden Ring(Dark Souls as well) is pretty much whatever you want to make it.
In general, if you want to be a mage that also uses a Sword and Board, you need to get a weapon whose damage will scale with your main magic stat: Intelligence. That way you don’t have to throw too many points into stats that you don’t need, be able to cast all your spells and get good damage scaling towards the end game.
How many spells you can equip also works differently here, as you need to explore mage towers throughout the land to get the necessary items.
Blocking with a shield is still pretty strong and they even added a mechanic to press RT after, to do a block counter.

So it really doesn’t matter all that much what class I choose in the character screen? Haven’t installed it just yet, but it can’t hurt to know these things before I get around to playing it. 
Man I wish I were as good as some of thee players that easily dodge/roll through enemy attacks, but alas.
The class you choose just determine your starting level, stats, items and maybe a spell. I always just go with wretch and just go running around with club, but the equipment is always something that makes the game easier for people who don’t normally play Souls games.
A good example was a video I saw of some guy getting his girlfriend to play Elden Ring and Dark Souls previously, in those videos she went with a thief/bandit class that starts out with a dagger and had a pretty bad time. But when he had her try again as a knight, because she could do more damage and take more damage, she did much better and had more fun.
Also, Elden Ring has a new summon mechanic that allows you to call spirits to help you fight bosses(some spirits are pretty damn strong), some bosses also have NPC that you can summon like in Dark Souls.

Little chance of them not using Toriyama’s style I think. The fanbase would tear them to pieces over it.

Just saying. Wasn’t there a sequel of sorts called Chrono cross that used a different art style.
