Want to play something with my brother in split-screen, stuff like Portal 2, A Way Out and It Takes Two were our favorites. Anything like them? On any platform

Escape Academy is great fun in co-op and has a narrative plus puzzles like Portal 2, while Moving Out 2 doesn’t really but is a great laugh - both are on Game Pass.

Otherwise I don’t know many others honestly in that vein - The Quarry is a horror with co-op which me and a mate really enjoyed, otherwise just the usual like Lego (a good laugh), Halo and Gears games.

Playing Halo 3 co-op split screen on the last level with skulls on was one of the most tense, hilarious and memorable experiences of my life lol

Graphically ahead of its time.

Oh, yes! Very much so.

If they had made a One X patch it would still blow minds nowadays probably, that, or at least still look very good. It probably still does, despite lower resolution.

I’d welcome a sequel with much needed improvements in some areas, but alas. There have been rumors but that’s all it was.

Why did they show a picture of three xboxes?

ETA: More seriously, it’s very funny given Switch & VR headset sales collapsing to not include Xbox.

Robocop : Rogue City is amazing ! What a glow-up for Teyon since they made that horrible Rambo game.

I understand you’re probably looking for personal recommendations, but whenever someone’s looking for a co-op game I always post a link to Co-Optimus, a co-op focused database with lots of filtering options and reviews. It’s a great resource:

As for a personal recommendation, I can’t say any of these are in the vein that you mentioned, but my wife and I have played and enjoyed:

  • Unravel Two, currently on sale. I believe I mentioned this one before, but it’s a co-op puzzle platformer.
  • For the King, a dungeon crawler RPG. It was a Games with Gold game at some point, so you may already own it.
  • Kane & Lynch, Xbox 360-era action co-op, good fun.
  • Minecraft Dungeons, basically Diablo in the Minecraft universe
  • All the Sniper Elite games

It’s almost like going back in time…

Seems likely Xbox will be able to continue to have a great relationship with AMD.

Their parent company got them to build this massive custom CPU that’ll be the most powerful processor on Azure, with super fast memory and other clever tech.

It’s built purely for Microsoft - for the amount of work that’s gone into it I can’t imagine how much AMD makes off stuff like this…

(BTW it’s got 96 cores not 88, AMD confirmed in the note at the top)

Unravel 2 might be it. Thanks :+1:

Yep, Escape Academy is great and it turns out we already did it

I still remember arguing with a mod on another certain site, with data, that Microsoft was a much bigger overall customer for AMD (compared to Sony) and that they’ve built custom/exclusive hardware for them and their joint ventures before. That caught me a permanent ban… So yeah, this feels good to be proven right again all these years later

My main concern at this point is how architectures will shift when the AI bubble bursts… but that’s a thought exercise for next year at this rate lol.

A lot more on VR than anything.

Nice lol - if the season pass is on offer at the moment and you’ve not done the DLCs they’re worth getting

Supposedly, Jez heard a new accessory for Xbox is coming next month in which could include that leaked file with haptics but uncertain if it’s accurate. More accessory is cool with me.
