Yes, it’s happened a lot of people in the last couple of days
Good to know cheers, fingers crossed it’s back before the next sale - think I managed to remember the main ones I’ve been waiting on
Yeah, mine is empty both on Xbox and the web site. I’m not buying anything on the store until Philip Spencer restores my whishlist from the backup (they have a backup, do they?)
Thankfully the wishlist on trueachievements still works.
I heard it’s because they are closing the store due to fully moving 3rd party, so you guys don’t need the wishlists anymore. /s
I’m the type that ends games “eventually”. Mostly longer games. I’ll go through half of the game sometimes get pretty close to the end only to drop it for whatever reason. I’ll come back to it weeks , months up to a year later and end it. This happened with the first Arkham Asylum game , The Witcher 3 ,The Judgment games ( I have yet to get back to Lost Judgement, I stopped after a certain character got offed mid game) and Starfield for example. I don’t know exactly why I do this with certain games rather than others. I played Cyberpunk all the way through Twice, same with Elden Ring and Wanted :Dead (which I have ended multiple times and am thinking of going back to with the new balance changes) but it’s a recent thing for me. Maybe it’s an age/time management thing.
Well, it feels like there’s more games than ever to play so I think that might play a part. Game Pass isn’t helping lol.
I do interrupt games sometimes, when something I’ve been looking forward to releases but I go back later to finish what I was doing.
Cross posting
Trueachiements has a tracking problem. Some games are marked unavailable, which is false, and then you don’t get a notification that’s on sale.
I don’t think they’d make a “pc handheld”. I think they’d make an Xbox handheld, one that runs Xbox store games, while working to make windows on other handhelds work better.
It will be interesting to see what happens.
Especially if the main console becomes more PC in nature too.
From a developer standpoint surely it would make more sense to have one scalable PC build rather then a PC & Console build. It would likely help third party support too.
There are already a lot of PC handhelds, there are no “xbox” handhelds. Having that Xbox handheld that gives you every console xbox one, all the bc 360/og, and every series game? Insane right there.
Sea of Thieves I must have hundreds of hours played but when it comes to those pesky achievements it feels like I will never finish!
I get that but is there really anything preventing it being both?
Since the XB One the OS has been running on a modified version of Windows. Previously Windows 8 Core and now Windows 10 Core.
We can assume the next Xbox will also be running on Windows.
If they can get both the ‘console’ and ‘handheld’ running on a slightly more open version with architecture closer to PC then both should be achievable, no?
I would imagine that their lack of being hacked on console from the Xbox One on might be a reason. They really don’t want a console to also have any type of windows access where security is far lessened.
Does anyone remember the name or Twitter for the guy in charge of ID at Xbox? Trying to see if I can get someone to reach out to this guy. This haak game looks pretty rad. It’s only on switch and I was looking to see if there was a version for Xbox or ps comming
ya that guy. Thank you
Watching the Xbox Era podcast from last night and during the currently playing segment, @Shpeshal_Nick talks about Helldivers 2 and that it doesn’t have a dedicated button for throwing grenades. You can customize this by going to the controller layout in the options menus and under combat, there’s an option for “quick grenade” which is blank. I set this to R1 and works perfectly. Don’t need to equip it. Can just throw it using the R1 button. I hate when shooters force you to equip grenades. It’s never made any sense to me.
