I donât mind it if itâs to ensure a strong first party lineup. With the 3DS they didnât have anything major release for it till like Mario 3D Land very late in the year when the system came out in March 2011, so they could have just launched the system later and saved themselves from the struggling launch. They definitely took that in as a lesson.

A great launch lineup, great launch year, backwards compatibility, upscaling/upgraded patches for Switch 1 games would be great for me. If they were to add Virtual Console like Wii, oh man, I would be thrilled!!

Iâm clueless on this stuff but from the reactions, it doesnât sound good, my impression is that Nintendo are cheaping out as always an making it so they donât take a loss on the hardware
In other words, itâs going to be underpowered so same old Nintendo

Its not that big of deal. Launch Switch was 20nm, the Switch OLED is 16nm. Switch 2 will be 8. No one in the world outside of a handful of miserable people on the internet will give a shit.
Everyone else will just be playing Mario and Zelda. It was already known that they were shooting for PS4/XB1/Steam Deck Level power but with modern Nvida features. That is a massive leap forward from the switch.
