Would be nice if Sony were to consider this too, they get Xbox GaaS and already have some, give some love back.

Never going to happen unfortunately. They find it hilarious when Xbox talks about them like this.

 According to his X bio, that guy is the Director of Strategic Initiatives & Planning at PlayStation Studios.

I find it a really odd choice to post that kind of reaction for someone like him. Most professional industries are relatively small, especially when you get as high as to the director level. And so what could he possibly have to gain from posting that?

He has no way of knowing what the future holds. There’s a non-zero chance that as his career progresses, he’ll one day find himself working for a studio that gets acquired by Xbox. Or maybe there’ll be a job opening over there that he’d be interested in. In those situations, having a history of posting childish, goading things like that certainly can’t be good for him.

Even if Spencer and others at Xbox aren’t petty enough to personally hold it against him, engaging in console war rhetoric like that is certainly not a professional look. And I think goes against the corporate Xbox culture, so it could very well have some kind of impact with a potential future employer.

I know odds of any of that are slim, but considering there’s zero benefit in the now to having posted that, why do it? I don’t get it.

Lets see how this backfires this time when a low tier Playstation guy talks shit on Twitter.

Playstation people always do this crap. I’m reminded of Insomniac smugly saying ā€œNeverā€ when people were asking them on Twitter when Spider-Man would come to Xbox. They nurture the fanboyism that is rampant in their consumers. When you have their own CEO committing perjury and lying under oath about Xbox trying to take Call of Duty away from them when he had a contract in writing guaranteeing 10 more years of releases sitting on his desk, stuff like this is small time.

We must not forget that even people working at these companies can be absolute man babies.

The headline makes it sound hypocritical but Phil means it overall about exclusivity, even their own games that are exclusive and would benefited from being on more platforms.

Honestly, that’s how I felt whenever I played SoT. I do need to give it another try now that Safer Seas is out.

Absolutely fascinating how OtherEra goes from the most holier than thou, ban-happy forum on the internet, to a free-for-all of keyboard warriors frothing at the mouth as soon as anything Xbox related comes up.

I can see why XboxEra was created.

I mean Palworld, which only cost like 7 million dollars to make is a much bigger win for Xbox than Helldivers 2 is to PlayStation.

Why is a 50-odd year old PlayStation director posting like a 12 year old on Twitter. Little embarrassing.

99% of Twitter is embarrassing.

Resetera and Neogaf before it, have always been faux multiplatform forums. Funny how there’s been an exodus of Nintendo, PC and Xbox users from there but never Playstation

I remember playing for like an hour and quitting after I got hit by lightning twice in 3 minutes.

I am extremely late to the party with this but wow @ Doom Eternal.

Yes, ID are wizards and I love the graphical/fps options they give the player. I’m definitely going with raytracing mode because 60fps is absolutely perfect.

I’m also going for the easiest difficulty because I remember from a year or two ago when I gave it a short whirl that it was challenging enough on the second. Plus I cannot he going into rage mode too much, Lara takes it very personally and I really don’t want that, lmao.

Or is the first difficulty truly too easy?

Spiderman 2 winning action game of the year when Hi-Fi Rush exists…

DICE Awards pls… -_-

@Staffy DOOM Eternal still looks and runs so freakin’ good.

Also Hurt Me Plenty is not that challenging IMO if you have enough experience with FPS and action games in general but if you want a more relaxed experience go with I’m Too Young To Die.
