Banishers getting good early reviews. Happy for Don’t Nod, hope this game does well for them.
I’m playing right now. It starts really slow. It doesn’t give a good first impression to be honnest, but after the first 30 min or so, it slowly gets going.
It’s a dialogue heavy action RPG. The characters look great. Environments are a bit mixed. It’s no Plague Tale Requiem, but still a good looking game. There’s two modes : Performance (60FPS) and Quality (30FPS). There’s also a motion blur option “on” by default. DoF gives a nice cinematic look to dialogues and cinematics.
I hope it does well too. There isn’t many games like that. It reminds me a bit of Greedfall from Spiders, but with a bit more budget, which is great in my book.
Well, to be fair, it is because they are releasing the Gold Edition for full price.
At least here in Europe the Gold Edition is not full price, it’s 50 euros when the vanilla version was 70 euros at launch. But yeah they are definitely dropping the price because of the Gold Edition.
I coould have swore I read it was full price, but I just looked it up on the Xbox store and it is $49.99.
Microsoft and EU are like shake and bake at this point.
I believe it was you that reviewed the Turtle Beach (Elite’ish) controller. How is the durability of it? I might be interested in checking it out, hoping stuff like the buttons and how they register (or fail too many times such as Elite V2) is good.
I’m currently reviewing it, taking my time to make sure the durability is ok. It’s been fine so far, though I had the “ring grind” on the left stick for a few days. It smoothed itself out though. Overall it’s “good not great” and $200 is a huge ask. However, if you play lots of shooters it’s hard to pass up. Hall Effect joysticks and the zero deadzone feel incredible.
I probably will just wait for it to get cheaper eventually and just stick it out with the V2. I play lots of different genres, shooter being one but not as much as many other genres and you are 100% right, $200 is definitely a big ask! Thanks man, helps me a lot.
Decided to continue with Shadow Warrior 3 and I can’t figure out for the life of me what the green bar is. After I perform finishers on baddies the bar stays full. And after the icon on the lower left is full and yellow the bar above it gets used. But what is the bar under it?
Honestly not surprising especially after the comments. I read a lot of korean light novels and when the topic of Japan is mentioned you know they will shit on them.
One of the recent popular anime called Solo Leveling is based on a korean light novel. The MC literally used Japan as his training ground. They changed in in the Manhwa and probably in the Anime as well.
Yes, the hatred and resentment runs deep. Japan has done some… not so great things to Korea in the past.
