You guys need to relax about performance issues caused by bugs that cause differences between platforms. The devs see it, they aren’t trying to spite you, and more than likely a fix is on the way.

One thing is for sure, DontNod has improved themselves immensely over the years. Banishers (demo) not only looks great but plays great too. It’s a whole different animal than Life is Strange, and I didn’t play much of Vampyr but I assume it’s quite different and improved over that too.
I do remember their game Remember Me and it wasn’t all that in my book, but this developer is doing very nicely indeed. Gonna finish the demo Sunday and who knows, maybe I’ll buy it.
All good. But hopefully he understands the assignment. We want to see big ass monsters fucking each other up, and just shit in general. Keep the balance between boring ass human story and monsters right. The latest movie absolutely did that. Really dig it.

Especially after they finally seem to get it, people want to see the monsters. It took them a while to realize that. Recently I watched Godzilla 2017 again but the human shit again bored me to tears. With King of the Monsters it was a bit better but especially with Godzilla versus Kong it became so much more entertaining.

It 100% is.
A few weeks ago I saw it while I knew how it was getting destroyed by the critics and I left the cinema smiling. Gonna go see that at least a second time. Kong is just superb, the new creatures too and the action was awesome.
A new Doom after all would be a surprise, since ID said they were done for now with it. Something like that.

I think this is the version with some good bits of work from The Coalition for consoles. There were also some improvements in the March or April GDK for OIT (order independent transparency).

Yeah, I know I sound like a UE5 hater but I think the engine is great overall and the amount it can do is mind boggling and Xbox/MS as an org is best set up to use it considering they have UE experts at the Coalition helping out the rest of the teams and with the development of the engine itself.
Timing seems about right.
Its also an incredibly messy/complicated offer too. They want to buy it whole but have to sell the TV Stations. They also desire to sell the cable channels and also Paramount+. They want to keep the Movies portion and the IP but sell everything else. It’ll make the other parts significantly less worth it and or outright worthless. Seems kind of crazy.

I think everyone should be a little bit of a UE hater. Especially when they had(have) some downright bad default settings or other braindead aspects. You can see it in every smaller studio game that releases with UE. You know exactly what their issues will be, since they dont have the resources (time or knowledge or skill) to fix it themselves.
And As you said, they do have some solidly good sections on offer overall.

Yep. There was a post on OtherEra where the title said “Sonys Plan for Paramount Include Sale of Famous Studio Lot”
even the historical studio landmark and soundstages would be sold off. Just horrible
