Same here, I thought it was a permanent exclusive at this point.
That being said the game looks interesting and I’d like to play it but there is no way I am paying full price for a ~3 year late port, hopefully it will be on game pass on release day.
The Cybertron games were 3rd person shooters and Devastation was a character action game, all 3 were very good games IMO. If any of those games end up on GP at least check them!
Surprised as well. Did it even do well the ending certainly made it look like there would be a sequel also the main characters story wasn’t really explored.
Don’t get slothed, that store page has existed for years. It’s just the Xbox One version that was delisted but you can still download it if you own the license.
Played and completed it when it launched for PlayStation 5. Great 8.5/10 game in my opinion. Looks fantastic, good voice acting, combat and gameplay is excellent and the story is darker than you would think by just looking at the game.
It was for me but it is my preferred type of game. Third person action adventure. See above.
It’s definitely challenging but there are difficulty levels. The biggest negative I had were the difficulty spikes.
Everwild. Just because it’s been 4,5 years since the XO19 reveal and it should have a release window at this point. Probably Spring 2025.
I’m also expecting gameplay footage of State of Decay 3 as it was revealed in July 2020.
Also shoutouts to Project Mara (January 2020) and Perfect Dark (December 2020). Mara would make sense as a shadow drop release early next year and Perfect Dark was revealed at TGA so maybe it’ll be there instead.
I did play on hard difficulty and then went to easy for the final boss. The rest I was able to get through. If you start the game on an easier difficulty level, you should be okay.
I’m not expecting Everwild or Perfect Dark anytime soon, both have been stuck in development hell according to leaks / rumours, with full resets happening.
I’d guess at 2026 for Perfect Dark if things are now going well, maybe about the same for Everwild?
Harold Halibut has a rather interesting setting in the…settings. One is called detect paper white. I’ve never seen that before. I enabled it and HDR looks great here so it’s working as intended. Normally you have to set this manually. Quite cool. Of course if a game has shit HDR it won’t make a difference…
Which brings me to AC Mirage, shit, shit HDR. Once enabled the colors become drab, it looks dim even during daytime in the game. Even with the correct HDR settings in the game it still sucks. Didn’t AC Origins and Oddysey have great HDR? Why did they fucked it up with Valhalla and now again with Mirage? Sigh.
