How is Xbox tweeting truthfacts a bad thing?
Gameplay comes first always or else why am I holding a controller in my hand. Everyone loves good graphics but without gameplay to back it up itās nothing more than a tech demo. Games like Metal Slug blew me away graphically in arcades 30 years ago and still hold up to day in sheer beauty if you appreciate 2D animation and sprite work, but the gameplay itself also still holds up and I enjoy playing it as much today as I did in the 90ās in arcades.
I wonder how many AAAās made today will hold up for Gen Z when theyāre in their 40ās and beyond.
While I agree that game play can be an important part of a game, gaming isnāt just about it.
There are so many narrative driven games that donāt have strong game play or even incredible graphics. That people find to be fun because of the story, world, characters and interactions.
Deciding that one is aspect is more important than another when theyāre all subjective, is just an opinion and one that I donāt agree with no matter which side people are on.
Gameplay always first. That is why Nintendo is Nintendo.
Fortunately for us, weāre living in an age where most games look and play great at the same time.
Seems to be mostly people saying why not bothā¦?
Itās not a bad tweet at all but itās honestly not the time when you have an upcoming first party title thatās the best looking out there and is all about how it looks
Itās a fact but we know what the community is like, even smart people like Ybarra, Warren jump in with nonsense.
Someone Iāve never heard about on Twitter says Xbox is planning on acquiring SE and that itās a developing story. Lmao. Of course with no source provided.
I donāt think Xbox will make any studio acquisitions anytime soon, let alone a freaking whole ass publisher. Iād like to see it for some glorious meltdowns though.
These SE rumours seem to happen every few months since 2018 .
If itās the same person that I saw then he also posted a few hours earlier claiming he he has insider emails from Sony regarding their PS strategy and they are currently in negotiations to be acquired by Appleā¦
I think itās safe to add that one to the block list.
as we move closer to the showcases we will hear more of that. I dont really care about aqusitions anymore mainly because of how xbox handles exclusives now. it would mean more games to gamepass which is always a plus
Pretty much this. Agreed.
Small titles multiplatform after a year and big ones exclusives? Is not bad at all if that enable Xbox to buy a japanese publisher.
If itās Hexen Iām going to lose my shit, would be a great day!
Absolutely!
Fun note! The tweets RE the SE acquisition and Sony Apple acquisition have now both been deleted !
They donāt want you to know this, but the 360 āmissed outā on third party games too.
Donāt say that that would mean people have to do research and know their history. But yeah, one of the biggest means we could have had was metal gear solid. 4. That game still stuck on PS3 hardware and I hope that guy they do a volume 2 on the master collection at least to get that game out of the PlayStation jail
I owned a PS3 (last PlayStation console I ever bought) and the only reason, besides the Blu-ray player, was MGS4. I believe the reason was disc size as apparently Konami had an early version running on Xbox 360 with no issues, but Kojima really needed those 50GB Blu-rays from what I remember.
People have high hopes for MGS4 on that MGS collection, would be a good time to bring it out on all platforms, including the PSP titles and Game Boy Color game as well. MGS4 is very heavy in cinematic but itās a good game!
Yep, besides it being a 50-hour freaking movie, Iāve heard good things gameplay wise. I own the game and a PS3 but I would rather they just remaster it at least with 60 FPS. At least thatās what Iām hoping and Iām waiting for. There was rumors around back that they are going to do a volume too with that and metal gear solid revengeance so Iāll be done
360 missed out on some stuff, but wasnāt it especially with Xbox One where it was much worse? We missed several Tales games for example, while Tales of Vesperia was on 360.
