Crazy that wow makes a billion a year just on subscriptions. They must make alot extra on cosmetics and other stuff

a) Why is the default the default? b) Why is watercolour like that, and not all the other possibilities of watercolour? c) I still despise it. Go nuts with it if you enjoy it, itās a technical marvel, but itās utterly, fatuously missing the point of what it plays with. I donāt mean you are, but the very point of the tech itself. Itās a parody of itself, a grand joke - and technically astonishing.

30 fps cap is amazing news. I know the game dips below that on Series X but know we will have a framerate of reference.

I understand itās a cool, unique and quirky thing, but having read through that it seems a terrible mechanic lol.
You could be tens of hours through the game, that happens then you end up unable to finish the game unless you look up specific NPCs you need to resurrectā¦

The fact that the UI portion ended up being permanent is perfectly reasonable to me. What he whipped up that Thursday morning is excellent as far as Iām concerned. Functional and straightforward. 
But what I find amazing about that story is the bit about why FAT volumes are limited to 32 Gb.
I also had to decide how much ācluster slackā would be too much, and that wound up constraining the format size of a FAT volume to 32GB. That limit was also an arbitrary choice that morning, and one that has stuck with us as a permanent side effect.
The fact that that was just an arbitrary choice made by one person, and that it hasnāt been changed sinceā¦
