They’re not going to confirm 60fps, that way when it launches at 30fps, they can say they did all they could but weren’t able to hit 60. It’s about bait switching, get people hyped on PS5 60FPS and Xbox only 30FPS and then just go like “Just couldn’t be done.”

With the leaked specs of the PS5 Pro, especially its CPU, I would say I trust Digital Foundry when they say that GTA VI won’t run at 60 FPS if the game is CPU-limited.

Microsoft money men seem dead set on making FFXIV Xbox the by far worst experience, with the GP Core sub requirement and this Coins system (on other platforms, you purchase the subscription and items you want directly. MS money men obviously want all payments to pass through the MS store)

Oof - is the subscription required for any access after the beta / GPU perk or can you access any free content?
Given the effort to ingratiate themselves with Square I hadn’t thought this would arrive with a subscription but instead be on Game Pass, but oh well.
Loved FF15 but bounced off Remake, don’t normally like MMOs but I do like the FF worlds.
Guess I’ve 30 days free to try it at least, although I object to £9 a month when for at you could get Game Pass console membership…
I think If you redeemed the GP perk then your “free trial” is over, and you will need to pay the sub after 30 days to be able to play (at all).
It does work like this on other platforms too, when a free account goes paid it’s permanent.
