Ah, got it.

So that source has a history of claiming nonsense? Good to know that.

Moore’s Law is Dead is not trustworthy

I’ve heard the same story, sad, but luckly there is a solution

In this case the engineers have to crak the OG edition files piece by piece then reasseble all the codes again after fixing/ adding what’s necessary for the remaster edition… Worse than SH2 case happend with Phantom Dust OG

You can find the answer in this video at 47:10

Good for Lewis :+1:

Moores Law is Dead has no idea what he is talking about, all the time.

I wonder why SH is the one horror franchise that doesn’t seem to catch a break. I don’t know much of Short Message aka F2P but from what I saw, it’s too on the nose. I wonder if it’s going to make it this year.

Yeah, I’m aware of where the rumor’s from at this point, didn’t dig in when Hazzard tweeted. Regardless, a device like this would be infinitely more useful than the Portal, so that point stands ;p

Even Wccftech.com is reporting on it now. I checked if there was a new source, there wasn’t. Lol, they are all so predictable but I guess I expected better from wccftech.com.

I’m wondering why there’s always some wild rumours popping right after some bad news or blunder from Sony. It’s coming right after that mid State of Play and I’m sensing some kind of diversion.

I can’t believe some sites are reporting on a random rumour that is 100% BS. Clicks coming from disappointed people maybe ?

It’s literally been an observable MO for years in the gaming sphere and something that probably happens in other media industries (see Fox News any time during 2016-2020). The worst part about it is how many people choose to believe the worst Xbox rumors while denying literal quotes from Sony CEOs… yes, this is about the obvious tantrum in another thread.

Are people this down on the SoP? I mean for a SoP I thought the stream was good enough, it didn’t blow me away or anything but it wasn’t that bad? Hmm.

From what I gathered, it’s more of mixed to positive showing. Positive if you have low expectation and liked the games they show there. Mixed when some first party titles or exclusive third party didn’t click like how some is a bit underwhelmed with Ronin and large portion didn’t like SH2. Negative if you expected too much. There was a video I didn’t get to see, probably hear it while playing Halo, but it was said that it was pretty good, but…and I’m not sure what he says there.

Personally, I thought it was decent. My issue still remains that after Stellar Blade, it’s drought time, at least from fresh new first party titles. I get that there’s a chance for showcase, but what are the chances they will show games coming out the rest of this year. It’s very slim. That’s my worries.

In general, State of Play was a B grade or so. I don’t understand why anyone would complain about it. It was one of Sony’s better State of Plays.

For me, I grade every show based on how many games I get out of it. Yesterday was 2 (Ronin and Blade) out of 13 with 2 (Silent Hill 2 and V Rising) of those 11 remaining games being 50/50.

Last September’s State of Play was better for me personally but yesterday’s State of Play was a better overall show in general.

Eh, every first party focussed show they did recently hasn’t been the blowout they’ve been expecting and Sony’s first party hasn’t been very prolific the last year so people get antsy.

I only watch the 3rd party non exclusive game trailers online after the SOP, since I don’t really care about Sony’s first party and that Ken Levine game looked very cool.

I thought Concord was going to pop up here.

Probably the next showcase for that one

I thought the SoP was totally fine for what it was. A non Showcase event of 15 games in progress, some of which don’t look great, some of which look like they might be good. It wasn’t E3 or TGAs, and anyone who thought it would be are nuts.

I was surprised at Rise of Ronin’s lack of visual fidelity, I thought it looked like a PS4/XBO title, but the gameplay elements looked great, and that was what I was most looking forward too. Everything else from there looked either meh to whoa on my personal scale, but objectively it did the job it was set out to do. The console-warring over lists or expectations is just wasted energy. Play the games you want to play!

EDIT: Also Judas looks amazing.

Agreed, State of Plays have a specific goal and for what they are that one was solid.

I sense the game will be delayed. I was hoping to show up here just to say it will be out this year. I get you can still technically do that, but Sony rarely does it and only doing so for launch titles.
