LET’S GOOOOOOOOOOOO
Just so glad it’s finally confirmed for Xbox. The combat remains damn cool by the looks of it, but I do notice lack of feedback by baddies when you hit them.

They have time. Perhaps feedback is what they need.
Bought Lego 2K Drive. That trial was very fun. This is gonna be great when my nephews come over too.
Yep. You can see it when the video briefly shows Elden Ring, those enemies do react to being hit.
I spent three hours yesterday afternoon trouble shooting Baldur’s Gate 3 issues instead of playing the game. I have encountered a couple of pretty bad bugs in Act 3, including a crash to desktop issue that completely stopped me in my tracks for a good while.
As you probably know the game forces you to go back to your camp fairly frequently to rest and recharge your spells and abilities. Both of my major bugs have involved either trying to leave the camp or trying to sleep at the camp. Since there is literally no way to avoid interacting with the camp (unless you want to limit yourself to basic attacks for the rest of the game) these were big issues.
I finally got past the crash to desktop issue by dropping all members of my party before going to sleep. After that I was able to play for several hours with no issue. But I have not returned to camp yet. I’ll be holding my breath today to see if the issue reappears…
FYI, the issue is not with my PC, drivers, or game install. There are reports all over reddit/steam of others with the same or similar issues. So, it appears BG3 could have used a little more time in the oven. It is going to be very interesting to see how many of these bugs are squashed by the PS5 release.
Wukong looks amazing. Day One for my Series X!
This… is not necessarily the case. No heavy spoilers but blurred out just in case.
If you do Lae’zel’s companion quest, you’ll reach the location called House of Hope. You can full regenerate your party there and come back at any time after clearing the location, though only the 4 selected members are rested
I didn’t have crashes, but I resoved to this method as it doesn’t cost any camp supplies and I started running short of them late in the game.
Tuesday more gameplay at Opening Night Live. I wonder if the game is straight up Soulslike or has action adventure elements too. Also, in the new footage they only seem to show boss type fights, but surely there will be smaller enemies to fight too? Can’t only he boss fights.
Interesting. I have that quest, but am not to that point yet.
Were you not worried about missing all the story beats/cut scenes that happen at camp?
You can go there at any point once you reach the lower city. The location also has some ridiculously OP gear that makes the rest of the game much easier. In hindsight, I’d go there immediately after reaching level 12.
As far as story missing story beats, you only get some fluff 2 or 3 lines in the camp after completing each companion quest, so it’s really whatever.
From the most recent footage, it looks like it will be mainly action-focused and faster than souls-like games.
Early gameplay videos showed regular enemies as well. I guess they are now focusing on boss fights cause they re cooler to showcase; their designs are fantastic.
Yeah for sure. I love how fast it is, the combat looks awesome, animations wise especially too. I’ve been fatigued on Souls games for a while now but this might be able to bring me back. Love the setting too.
They chose maybe slightly more sales over letting the game cook like a month or two more, unfortunately.

My record player is broken. I think it goes “But Game Pass kills sale.”
Is Texas Chainsaw actually good or something?
From what my friend said, they said it’s a better version of dead by daylight. So, if you like those type of games, then you’ll like that game
I think Starfield is gonna be a huge GOTY contender for TGA. Personally I don’t care, but it would be great for BGS, I’d definitely like that. I’ve seen plenty people on Twitter this year talking about RE4R, Hogwarts Legacy, FF16 being serious GOTY contenders and ignoring Starfield, but I have a feeling it’s gonna surprise many.
What a year for gaming though, it’s absolutely fantastic.
Dont think any of the games you listed even have a chance haha. It’ll be between TOTK, BG3, and (hopefully) Starfield.
If Starfield is the game people were hoping for, it’s those 3
The others will be there because they need 6/x amount of nominees, not because they actually stand a chance
50 minute gameplay video of Black Myth Wukong. Player dies at around the 10:00 minute mark and I don’t see him getting back his “souls” or anything when going back to the enemy that defeated him. Does anyone know if this game is like a souls game in this regard where when you die, you lose your souls (or this game’s equivalent) and then have to get it back before dying a second time? Thanks.
EDIT: This was captured directly from their live stream last night. It’s a pinned comment under the YouTube video. Just saw it as I rarely if ever read comments for YouTube videos. lol
Well shit, i guess we don’t need that Keighley footage anymore.
